22. Interpretation
Based on all the information given from this questionnaire, I have come to the
conclusion that the majority of everyone we asked watched movies often and the
same amount (8) liked to watch thrillers. This tell me that following the Thriller Genre
for my main task would be a very good idea. As a group we had an idea to add a car
chase and possible involve a gun scene so to gain thoughts we added both those
questions into the questionnaire. From this we realised that it would go down well and
people would want to watch it. As we are creating the first 3 minutes of a film we
asked if it is important to the watcher and it shows that it is. It is what entices the
audience and lets them know if the movie will be good or bad. An answer from another
question is that 7 out of 10 people watch a thriller once a month. This means for other
thriller to stand out it must involve conventions that people want to see. These include
suspense and investigation, which we are writing our script on and also following an
action theme. It has been a massive help creating a questionnaire as it provides an
insight/widened views on what would be good for the perfect film.
