A blue macaw named Blu who was raised by a human in Minnesota is taken to Rio de Janeiro to breed with a female macaw named Jewel. However, Blu has never learned to fly due to living his life indoors. Throughout the film, Blu works to overcome his inability to fly and forms an unlikely friendship with Jewel as they try to escape from bird smugglers and return home together.

INTRODUCTION Rio is a great film with beautiful graphics, funny characters,lots of action, adventures, great music and heartwarming storyline. This film directed by Carlos Saldanha. 2
CHARACTER Blu :-Blu The main Character of the movie. In this movie Blu is Linda :- Linda is Blu’s former owner and best friend. BLU LINDA Dr. tulio :- Tulio Monteiro is an ornithologist from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. He serves as the secondary deuteragonist of the Rio franchise, the other being Jewel. DR. TULIO 3 the last male of his kind.
Jewel:- Blu’s friend is Jewel. She loves to fly and cherishes her freedom. JEWEL Fernando:- Fernando is a young Brazilian orphan boy. FERNAND O 4 RAFEL Rafael:- Rafael is a Blu’s friend.
Marcel:- Marcel is a Nigel’s owner. And he is a smugglers. MARCEL 5 Pedro and Nico:- Pedro and Nico are best friend. They later became friends with Blu and Jewel. PEDRO &NICO LUIZ Luiz :- Luiz is a mean-looking but friendly bull dog that aids and the Blu and the other in their journey
. 6 Nigel:-Nigel is the main antagonist if the Rio film series. NIGEL ARMANDO & TIPA Armando and Tipa:- Armando and Tipa are Marcel’s bumbling henchmen.
After some bird smugglers capture a baby blue macaw living in Brazil, they ship it to a small town in Minnesota. There a little girl named Linda finds him and decides to take care of him. As the years pass, this little bird becomes so domesticated that he never learns to fly. One day, an ornithologist named Tulio arrives and asks Linda to take her bird she named Blu to Brazil to breed with a female macaw named Jewel. She eventually agrees which leads to events that will change everyone’s life forever. 7 PLOT

CONCLUSION This is a great experience for us to work together in this project. This is the first time we have done a film review project and we have learnt this all our group members are very helpful.
