Christopher Columbus was born in Genoa, Italy to Domenico Colombo and Susanna Fontanarossa. As a young boy, he helped his father at his cheese stand and dreamed of sailing and discovery. Though he had no formal education, he became knowledgeable about astronomy, geography, and history by reading the works of Ptolemy, Marco Polo, and others. Through persistence, he was able to discover lands now called America and prove the Earth was round. He encountered obstacles when kings and queens rejected his proposals to sail west, but he eventually convinced the Queen of Spain to fund his voyage.

1 st Paragraph – Personal Information My name is Christopher Columbus, I am the son of Domenico Colombo and Susanna Fontanarossa. I live at Genoa, Italy My siblings are Bartolomeo, Giovanni and Giacorno. My name has various forms, in Latin Christophorus Columbus, Genoese Christoffa Corombo and in Italian Cristoforo Colombo .
2 nd Paragraph – Early Life When I was still young, I used to help my father in working to his cheese stand as a helper. Even in my young age, I used to dream of sailing and discovering lands through voyages.
3 rd Paragraph - Education I never entered a formal education, but I learn Latin, Portuguese, Castilian and be widely knowledgeable in Astronomy, Geography and History by reading works of Ptolemy, Marco Polo and Pope John Pius II.
4 th Paragraph – Accomplishments Through my persistence in achieving my dream to become a sailor, I was able to discover the land now called America, My exploration was able to prove that the Earth is round. Aside from those I was also able to discover the island of Japan and a lot more.
5 th Paragraph - Descriptions As a typical European guy, I have light colored eyes, light skin complexion, blonde hair and a height about 6 feet tall. I am a persistent kind of person, once I have a dream I will do all my best to achieve it.
6 th Paragraph - Obstacles One of the biggest problem that I encountered is when kings and queens from different nations keep on neglecting my proposal to sail west and discover lands, but through my persistence I was able to convince the queen of Spain and allows me to sail west including all the needed materials for sailing.
7 th Paragraph – Future Plans In the near future I would like to sail more and discover more lands and name me as its discoverer.
8 th Paragraph – A Song of Personality If there is a song that would represent my personality, that will be Don’t Stop Believin by the Glee Cast. The Line “Don’t stop Believin, Hold on to the feelin.” simply shows my persistent side, that if you have a dream don’t stop in achieving it and believe that you have all the knowledge and skills to achieve it.
Just put all the paragraphs together to come up with a complete Autobiography of yours. This is just an example for pupils of Pateros Catholic School, Christopher Colomnus wasn’t able to write any formal Autobiography.
