SECURE SOCIETIES
The BigDataEurope approach30/09/2015
EU Satellite Centre
 Agency of the EU Council
 HQ in Torrejón de Ardoz (ES)
 Primary User of EO Satellite Data
 Foreseen role of Service Provider
To support the decision making and actions of the EU
in the field of the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP)
by providing products and services resulting from
the exploitation of relevant space assets and collateral data
Big Data @ SatCen
RTDI activities to assess technical solutions with regard to the whole
data lifecycle on transversal issues (e.g. Big Data, Data Science, VREs)
