- 3. “ Techqueria is a community of Latinxs in the tech industry that was first established in 2016. 3
- 4. 1. Before I joined Techqueria’s website was not well maintained, didn’t have many contributors and was not as well designed as it could be.
- 5. So I stepped in I volunteered as a contributor and eventually became the lead maintainer for their website. 5
- 6. Where the Techqueria website is now ◂ Contributors from all over the world ◂ 100% scores through Lighthouse, Google’s web auditing tool ◂ Ranked 3rd in Google for “Latinx in Tech” ◂ A growing community built around maintenance and future feature development of our website 6
