The story begins by introducing Sleeping Beauty and the kingdom of Pharoffland. On Princess Aurora's birth, three good fairies bestow gifts upon her while an evil witch curses her. On her 16th birthday, Aurora pricks her finger on a spindle and falls into a deep sleep. A prince arrives years later to face the witch and break the curse with true love's kiss, awakening Aurora and the kingdom.

Sleeping beauty Play script Narrator 1 -Good Morning, ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls. How do you do? We are your Storytellers. Today we are going to tell you the story of Sleeping Beauty Narrat 2 - this story is a classic, which means that it has been told over and over again in many Countries and in many different languages Narrat 3 --- like many stories, this one begins with the words- once upon a time there was a small And quiet kingdom called Pharoffland. King Stephan was the ruler of Pharoffland. And he and his wife, queen Eleanor, the elegant ruled very wisely indeed. They enter Play03 Narrat 1 - the kingdom was a prosperous and a peaceful land. However, the king and queen had been without children for a long time Narrat 2 - and one day their wish was granted. And one day the princess was born. They called her Aurora. They named her after the dawn for she filled their lives with sunshine. Narrat 3 - and our story begins on that most joyful day. Play---03 00.55second Queen - oh, king Stephan. How beautiful our princess is. my lovely daughter King - today is the party celebrating the birth of the princess. Everyone is invited to our celebration Queen -- dear fairies, please give the princess the blessing *Fairy 1 walks forward*
Fairy 1: to the beautiful princess. *Fairy 2 walks forward* Fairy 2: * bows down* from us fairies…. *Fairy 3 walks forward* Fairy 3:*bows down* we present her a gift… King and Queen: Yes… Fairy 1: From me, a beauty matching a brilliant rainbow… *Fairy waves wand at high* Fairy 2: tiny princess From me a singing voice as good as any bird *Fairy waves wand at high* Fairy 3: And for me… Play-03—2-35 second * Witch evil laugh* Witch: My, what a party we have today! …. But it seems I didn't receive the invitation! Fairy 1: Who would invite a wicked witch like you!? * Witch comes forward* Witch: A wicked Witch? I wonder who you mean by that… Queen: I…I apologize. I had heard that you disliked noisy gatherings… Witch: Yes, Yes, I hate noisy gatherings… *Gets angry*But I hate being more ignored even more than that! Witch: *Looks at King and Queen* Play 03 4-20
Now…listen well, all of you. I shall give a blessing to the princess as well…The princess will live a happy life with her beauty, pride, and kindness…and loved by the people of her kingdom. Play – 03 --04-20 But on her 16th Birthday, She will be pricked by a needle on a spinner… Witch: *shouts*….AND SHE WILL DIE!! king- cease that creature *Evil laughs while exiting the stage* *Queen Walks down from the chair* Queen: oh this is horrible! The princess was cursed by the witch! *Queen kneels down* *Fairies come near her* Fairy 2 ciala: H-how horrible! king: *looks at Fairies* is there any way to lift the witch/wizard's curse? Fairy 3 tako: I still have my gift yet. Queen – then you can undo that terrible curse *Fairy waves wand at high* Fairy 3: The curse is too powerful to lift, and the princess will prick her finger on a needle from the spinner on her 16th birthday. However, she will not die…she will just f all asleep. The princess will awaken by someone who truly loves her and who has enough power to break Witch's evil powers…. Narrator 1 giga: Hearing the witch's curse, the king called out to burn every spinner in the kingdom. All of the countrymen followed his call, and all spinners disappeared from this kingdom.
Scene2 Narrat 3 saba -16 years has passed since then. the princess grew up to become very beautiful. Play once upon a dream 00- Princess- sings a song and speaks to the birds My dear fairies never want me to meet someone. But you know something? I have met someone Birds- who? Who? Princess - oh, a prince. Well, he is tall and handsome and so romantic. Oh, we walked together and talked together, and just before we say goodbye, he takes me in his arms, and then… I wake up… Yes, it’s only in my dreams. But they say if you dream a thing more than once, it’s sure to come true. And I have seen him so many times She sings…. Again once upon a dream 00 Prince – what is it. Come on and let’s find out A song Prince- you know Samson. There was something strange about that voice. Too beautiful to be real. Maybe it was a mysterious being, a wood sprite…. There, stop Prince is hidden behind the tree. They sing a song Play 00-55 –1.05 Princess- oh! Oh! (she tries to run but prince holds her) Prince- I am awfully sorry. I didn’t mean to frighten you Princess- oh, it wasn’t that. It’s just that you’re a… a… Prince- a stranger? Don’t you remember we’ve met before Princess- before?
Princess- of course. You said it yourself- once upon a dream He sings then they dance Play- 1-30 - 2-20 Prince- who are you, what’s your name? Princess – it’s….oh, no… no, I can’t. I ….. good bye? Prince- but, when will I see you again? Princess – oh, never, never Prince- never? Princess – well, maybe some day Prince – when, tomorrow? Princess – oh, no this evening Prince – where? Princess – at the castle…..bye She runs . he goes too Scene 3 Start: *Queen enters stage* Queen: Princess, oh Princess! Where are you Aurora: Yes, Mother! Aurora: what is it mother? Queen: Tonight it is your 16th birthday party, hurry up and get ready Aurora: Yes, mother!! *Queen exits from to right…*
princess – flora, Fiona, merryweather, where are you? Fairies – a surprise, a surprise, happy birthday Princess – oh, this is the happiest day of my life, everything is so wonderful. I’ve met someone Fairy1 mary– you met a stranger? Princess – oh, he isn’t a stranger, we’ve met before Fairy 2 ciala – where? Fairy 3 – how? Princess – once upon a dream (song) Fairy 2 ciala -– she is in love – oh, no, this is terrible Princess – why? Thinking you could defeat me. Me, The mistrees of all evil. Well, here is your precious princess. Princess is dead. Play 2-53 Fairy1 --oh, no, I’ll never forgive myself, poor king Stephan and the queen
*music stops* *Aurora comes near and touches spinner's needle* *Instant death* *play: Fatigue* *Queen enters the stage* Queen: *shocked* Oh! The princess is dead! My Darling Princess! *Queen kneels down and hugs princess* *Fairies appear on stage* Fairy 3tako: No, your majesty! She is only asleep… Just like my gift from 16 years ago. king – fairies, can’t you do anything to help my princess Fairy 1: Now, All we can do is wait for the young lad who will awaken the princess… fairy 2 – we’ll put all of you to sleep until aurora awakens. Come! everybody sleeps Scene 3 Setting: Outside Kingdom Castle At the scene: Prince, 3 Fairies, Witch, and Witch's underlings Preparation: this is the longest and many people will appear in this scene. The prince should have his sword with him; Wizard/Witch soldiers are ready, Prince enters from right, Fairies are left, also Wizard/witch… Music to play: Break the Sword of Justice, Hear our Prayer Start: *Play: 18 Narrator: And some time has passed, a prince arrives at the kingdom… *Prince enters from right*
*Prince look at castle* Prince: That must be that Mystic castle… Fairy 1: We have been waiting for you… Prince: WHO IS IT!? *Gets sword out…* *Fairies appear from the left* Fairy 2: We are Fairies; we've been waiting for a brave young lad to come to this castle… Prince: What!? Fairy 3: In this castle sleeps a beautiful princess. Fairy 1: She continues to sleep because of a curse by the wicked witch. Prince: That is a big problem! Is there anything that I can do to help? Fairy 2: If you truly feel you want to save the princess… Prince:*raises sword* I have this sword, and my courage. I promise to dispel the curse from the princess…*puts sword back* *play: 17 * Witch evil laughs* Witch: So you are here, Prince! *Prince points sword to witch* Prince: You must be the wicked witch who made the curse! Witch: silence. All of you GET HIM!! *Witch's underlings charged at Prince* *Prince attacks underlings with one slash* *All underlings dead on ground* witch – no, it cannot be
Now shall you deal with me, old prince, and all the powers of hell! Prince- I will defeat you, wicked witch Witch laughs and throws the fire, prince goes back Fairies tako– let’s combine our magic on the princes sword - Now sword of truth fly swift and sure - That evil die and good endure - *Witch and Prince Fights for few minutes* *Prince slashes Witch for last time* *Witch screams in agony* Witch: NUUUUU!!!! CURSE YOU, PRINCE!!! *Witch falls down and dies* *Stop music* Scene 4 *play:18 - *Prince enters Aurora's room* *Comes near Aurora* - narrat-salome-- after fighting prince Philip defeated the wicked witch at last. - Narrat giga --He ran to the princess’s room to awaken her - Prince: Oh! What a Beautiful princess! Oh isn’t she the girl I met in the forest. Yes she is *Prince looks at back* *Fairies appear* Fairy 1:mary-- The only thing that can awaken the princess… Fairy 3:tako - …Is a kiss from someone who truly loves the princess… Fairy 2: ciala - If you truly love her, then a kiss… Prince: *nods* Yes…
*looks at Princess* *Prince comes closer to Aurora* *Kisses Aurora* *Aurora awakens* - Play -18 1-46 second *Aurora stands up* - Everybody awakens - - King – it’s aurora, she’s here. she is not dead. She is alive and we all are alive Queen – and the wicked witch is dead. How happy I am. But who is this young man? Prince – I am prince Philip pRince and princess kneel down before the king and queen. Aurora kisses them aurora- mother, father I am so happy king, queen – we are happy too, dear aurora Narrator : After the curse was lifted, The Princess and the Prince lived happily Ever after…. play 19 0-54 they dance fairy 1 – what’s the matter dear?
