Innoz Technologies is a startup founded in 2008 that provides mobile value-added services. It has 25 employees across offices in Delhi and Kerala. Innoz created SMSGYAN, a service that provides instant information to users via SMS on any topic. SMSGYAN has over 145 million subscribers across India through its partnership with Bharti Airtel. Innoz aims to expand SMSGYAN to provide information through apps, websites and local language support.

How we tackled a great problem More than Sixty per cent in India doesn't even have access to internet. “ Everybody—irrespective of age, location or vocation—has questions to ask. And not everyone with a doubt has access to the Internet to get the answers.” Mobile Subscribers with almost 771 million now, projected to cross one billion in 2014 driven by high subscriber additions in mostly rural areas . Use cheaper phones. Mostly uses phone to call & text . Likes  ABC (Astrology, Bollywood, Cricket).  USP: Adopts user centric learning approach using the low cost, low bandwidth - SMS medium as delivery mechanism. We invented SMSGYAN – ‘ instant information on demand. ' We build Context flow - Pointing to exact results and therefore acting as an answer engine. We bridged internet players and telecom operators One day, one of the founders was in transit and wanted to know the meaning of a word and found that his basic phone was of no use to get the information
