Selena Gomez began her career on Barney & Friends in 2002 and later had roles on Disney Channel shows like Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place, which increased her fame. She launched a music career with her band Selena Gomez & the Scene and as a solo artist. Gomez also starred in movies for Disney and other studios. Her relationships with pop stars like Justin Bieber boosted her popularity further. She has become one of the most followed celebrities on social media today.

At the Start. Selena was born on the 22nd of July in 1992, in Grand Prairie, Texas, U.S. Her first debut was on Barney & Friends, as Gianna. 2002 – 2004 She then went on to have cameo roles in films, such as Spy Kids 3D: Game Over, Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial By Fire.
Disney Appeared as a guest star on “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody”, aswell as “Hannah Montana” as rival Mikayla. 2006-2008 After she landed her own show, “Wizards of Waverly Place”, as Alex Russo. 2007-2012 WWP had critical and commercial success earning Gomez many awards and nominations. Had 4 season until 2012. The success of the series then lead to Gomez equaling the highly successful Disney star Miley Cyrus. She was later named one of the "Eight Hot Kid Stars To Watch" by Forbes magazine. Gomez was later then a quest on Jonas Brothers. 2008 She also appeared several other shows, including, “Suite Life on Deck”, “So Random!”, “PrankStars”. Gomez also appeared on “Sonny with a Chance”, which fellow actress and life long friends Demi Lovato stars in.
Branching Off! In 2008 Gomez launched her own production company, July Moon Productions and partnered with XYZ Films. This allowed her to explore music as well as her acting. Gomez recorded the theme song to WWP series, titled "Everything Is Not What It Seems", making it her first musical release. Gomez then stepped away from Disney landing her first lead role in “Another Cinderella Story”. After this Gomez starred in many more Films and came out with many more Songs. In 2010 Selena launched her own Fashion Line - “Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez”
Music Gomez recorded “Fly to your heart” for Disney’s Tinker Bell then started venturing out on her own. In August 2009, Gomez announced her band, “Selena Gomez and the Scene”, then release of her 1st Album “Kiss & Tell” earning a Gold certification from the RIAA. “A Year Without Rain” was her 2nd studio album and also earned a Gold certification the the RIAA. Surprisingly her 3rd album “When The Sun Goes Down” also received a Gold certification from the RIAA. “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know” was Gomez’s 1st song in the Charts. “Love You Like A Love Song” received 4 x Platinum She then released “Come & Get It” in 2013 as a Solo Album. Followed by her bands 4th album, “Stars Dance”.

All her boyfriends increased her popularity as she then gained her boyfriends fans. Especially after “Stealing” Taylor Swifts ex, Taylor. Followed by gaining hundreds of Bieber Fans.
