Communication skills are essential for engineers in their personal, academic, and professional lives. Effective communication allows engineers to exchange information, explain ideas, gain attention, and motivate others. It is important for tasks like group projects, interviews, presentations, leadership, and career advancement. Developing skills like listening, public speaking, and adjusting tone and speed can help engineers improve their communication abilities.

 Communication is process by which formation is exchanged between individuals through a common system of symbol, sign or gesture.  Communication skill are the ability to use language and express information effectively.  Effective communication skill are the critical element of our life.  Communication is further classified into verbal and nonverbal communication.

 Communication skill are very important in Engineers day to day life.  For an engineer communication skill in just like oxygen without which he can’t survive.  Importance of communication skills starts from their college days which is further carried out in interviews , jobs and their day to day life  As the engineers design the future communication is much needed them for their survival.  For engineers most of the project activities are in groups, communication skill are important to communicate easily in group.  Good communication skill can attract the attention on people.  It enables the engineers to share their idea and explain their thoughts and also to put forward their quires in effective manner. COMMUNICATION SKILL IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ANY SITUATION:
 Crack Interview.  Developing self confidence.  Explaining the presentation.  Leadership.  Commercial activities.  Good job opportunities.  Earning respect in society.  Get work done in effective manner. TIPS TO IMPROVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Truly said, communication works but those who work at it:Slow down your speaking speed.  Think and speak.  Always learn and speak in substance not in words.  Learn to listen.  Engage the audience by adding the quotation or by telling stories.  Try to speak in own words.  Changing the tone of voice.  Using right word at right time.  Make a good introduction.  Be confident.
 From the above presentation we concluded that communication skills are the very important aspects of the engineer life.  Communication skills are much needed in the 21st century to survive in the day to day life for an engineer.  An engineer without good communication is just like a computer without operating system.  Along with knowledge, communication is the path that leads to success. Bibliography:- https://www.theengineer.co.uk
