The document provides a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis for a welcome letter and agenda form for a conference:
1. For the welcome letter, strengths include using the host country's language and culture, while weaknesses could be small fonts and lack of color. Opportunities are pleasing the client with creative elements, while threats include potential language barriers or unwanted image placement.
2. For the agenda form, strengths are clear layout and linking to the welcome letter design. Weaknesses may be too much clutter from images/logos. Opportunities include adopting the layout permanently or using cultural diversity, while threats involve information overload or desire for more decoration

Welcome Letter
Strengths: what is good about this idea?
- Strength from the welcome letter is that the information is set from the brief given from the
client and this means that it cannot be changed under any circumstances unless ordered from
the client to change the information under their request.
- Strengthof the welcome letter is that the titles and subtitles are in the language of the country
where the conference is being held which represents some cultural diversity and respect for
the countries culture where the conference is being held.
Weaknesses: what potential problems can you identify in relation to this idea?
- Weakness of the idea is that perhaps the fonts are too small for the weak English speakers to
understand so therefore there could be problems with communication on the welcome letter.
- Weakness of the idea is that there might not be enough colours on the welcome letter to
attract the target audience to reading it and engulfing the information that is presented on the
welcome letter.
Opportunities: what opportunities will this provide in terms of satisfying the client’s needs?
- Opportunities from this idea is that the client could potentially be satisfied from the creation of
the images on the welcome letter where the image that represents the team has been faded
and added behind the text of the welcome letter which is deemed as a creative aspect of the
welcome letter, the client might want to keep this adaption for future welcome letters.
- Opportunities from this idea is that the layout and positioning of the text and images is a
strong layout that again the client might want to keep for future welcome letters as the layout
is spaced out and positioned in a form where the most attractive aspects and important
information is spread out for the client to appreciate.
Threats: identify potential barriers to the success of the project if this idea is chosen?
- A potential barrier of this idea is that the client might not want the images positioned where
they are as this could remove the attraction from the text which is important information that
the client ensures is vital.
- A potential barrier for this idea is that the client might see the cultural aspects of the welcome
letter as a potential language barrier for some of the delegates at the conference.
Agenda Form
Strengths: what is good about this idea?
- Strength of the agenda form is that it is laid out in a clear fashion so that it is easier for the
client to read and understand the information that is presented onto the agenda form.
- Strength of the agenda form is that the form links in with the welcome letter with regards to
design and regards to the image being transferred from the welcome letter to the agenda form
which is shown on the page.
Weaknesses: what potential problems can you identify in relation to this idea?
- Weakness of the agenda form is that the information could clutter the page too much when
images and logos are added onto the page so the client could see the agenda form as too
cluttered and doesn’t present the information as well as it could be without the clutter.
- Weakness of the agenda form is that the creativeness will not be deemed as important as the
information and therefore there could be a lack of creativeness when the welcome letter
provides enough of the creative aspects.

Opportunities: what opportunities will this provide in terms of satisfying the client’s needs?
- Opportunities of this idea are that the client could see that the layout could be a potential
permanent layout for the agenda form. The layout could also help towards other forms that
the client might want to consider as a persistent format.
- Opportunities of this idea are that the client could want to keep the context of cultural diversity
in the agenda form which could develop into a new slogan or to help advertisement in the
future.
Threats: identify potential barriers to the success of the project if this idea is chosen?
- The threats that could be barriers at this idea is that the information on the agenda form could
be to cluttered with all the information and might not be spread out enough for the client and
therefore could be a barrier as the font can’t be downsized too much but also can’t be
enlarged otherwise the delegates will either have trouble reading the information or there will
not be enough room for the delegates to read all the information which is vital to be on the
agenda form.
- The threats that could be barriers at this idea is that the client could want more decoration in
the agenda form although the information fills most of the space on the agenda form and
therefore forms of images and texts could clutter the agenda form even more so than it is.
