Early Life
• Taylor was born on December 13, 1989. In 4th
 grade she won a national poetry contest. At 10
 years old, she started singing and writing songs.
 After learning just 3 chords, she wrote her first
 song, “Lucky You”. Other kids would react badly
 to her so she wrote songs about them. She was
 asked to sing at the U.S. Open Tennis
 tournament. She sang her rendition of the
 National Anthem. She became the youngest staff
 songwriter ever hired by the Sony/ATV Tree
 Publishing House.
Adult Life
 Taylor sang at the pubs in Nashville. After high school
 she decided that she didn’t want to go to the university
 because her career was already to be a pop and
 country singer. She is turning 21 in December. Her
 favorite number is 13.Her favorite number is 13
 because she was born on December 13,she turned 13
 on Friday ,December 13,and moved to Nashville at age
 13.
Good Deeds
• She donated $500,000 to Nashville Flood Relief. She
 help raise $1.7 million. She held a benefit concert and
 raised more than $750,000 for tornado relief. Right out
 of her pocket, she gave 100,000 to flood victims. She
 turned down a request from a cancer patient only to
 invite him to an awards show in April. For her birthday
 she donated $250,000 to schools around the country.
 Taylor donated her prom dress to charity.
Fun Facts
 Taylor got a tattoo of the number 13 on her wrist
  because it is her favorite number.
 Taylor has her own scent of perfume called
  wonderstruck.
 She won the big green help award at the Kid’s Choice
  Awards 2012 for all of her good deeds.
