Oracle Buys CrowdTwist
Oracle announced it signed an agreement to acquire
CrowdTwist, the leading cloud-native customer loyalty
solution to empower brands to offer personalized customer
experiences. The solution offers over 100 out-of-the-box
engagement paths, providing rapid time-to-value for marketers
to develop a more complete view of the customer. Upon the
close of the acquisition, the CrowdTwist team will join the

SAP Pre-Announces Outstanding Third Quarter Results
• In the third quarter, new cloud bookings were up 38% (33% at constant
currencies) and up 50% excluding Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS). A
cloud deal with a major partner contributed 17 percentage points to Q3
new cloud bookings growth. The deal has a term of 3 years, with revenue
recognition starting in the fourth quarter 2019.
• Cloud revenue grew 37% year over year to €1.79 billion (IFRS), up 37%
(non-IFRS) and 33% (non-IFRS at constant currencies). Software
licenses revenue was down 1% year over year to €0.93 billion (IFRS),
down 1% (non-IFRS) and down 4% (non-IFRS at constant currencies).
Cloud and software revenue grew 12% year over year to €5.63 billion
(IFRS), up 13% (non-IFRS) and 10% (non-IFRS at constant currencies).
Total revenue grew 13% year over year to €6.79 billion (IFRS), up 13%
(non-IFRS) and 10% (non-IFRS at constant currencies).
• Adding more than 500 customers in the quarter, SAP S/4HANA adoption
grew to more than 12,000 customers, up 25% year-over-year.
• The share of more predictable revenue grew by 2 percentage points
year-over-year to 69% in the third quarter.
• Cloud gross margin increased 5.9 percentage points year over year to
64.5% (IFRS) and increased by 5.4 percentage points year over year to
69.0% (non-IFRS) and 5.5 percentage points to 69.0% (non-IFRS at
constant currencies).

further ac-celeration of our operational excellence initiative and
restructuring benefits in the third quarter. In parallel we have continued
to execute extremely well on our cloud transition in the first nine

Amadeus announces that Selling Platform Connect, its cloud-based booking platform, now allows travel sellers
to shop, order, pay and service airline travel offers via an NDC connectivity. A main advantage for travel sellers
is that they can now view and compare all available airline flights and related services for any given trip on one
single screen, whether they are sourced from EDIFACT, NDC or other APIs. It’s the first time travel sellers can
access such a full range of air content all in one place, making it easier for them to compare offers and help their
customers to find the best value. As customer service is a top priority for all travel sellers, this new NDC-enabled
version of Selling Platform Connect also allows for the servicing of NDC bookings. Travel sellers can cancel or
change flights that have been booked via an NDC connectivity. In addition, “involuntary changes”, or changes
made by airlines to existing bookings, will continue to be handled by the queue mechanism, which travel agents
are already familiar with. All of these features, as well as the new graphical interface, were designed and tested in
close collaboration with Amadeus customers through the NDC [X] program.

Finastra has announced the launch of two new applications built on its FusionFabric.cloud open development
platform. These are the first applications built in collaboration with banks and credit unions to go live and include a
real-time bill payment application from Allied Payment Network, in use at Certified Federal Credit Union
(previously Vons Credit Union), and a personal savings tool from Monotto. The Allied Payment Network real-time
bill pay solution is designed to help financial institutions retain and grow their customer base. Called Allied Bill
Payment, the application has come to fruition having been built in conjunction with Certified Federal Credit Union.
It immediately moves funds from the user’s bank account, limiting risk to the credit union, and will soon allow an
instant funds push to the biller for immediate confirmation that the bill has been paid. Separately, Atlanta-based
fintech, Monotto and its automated savings tool, RoboSave, looks at the way users spend money, calculating how
much they would need in their safety net to take on life’s emergencies. Using artificial intelligence, RoboSave
