Planning Process- Getting StartedThe plan needs to be embedded in or supplement the school’s comprehensive school improvement plan
A committee with representation from all essential groups needs to  be chosen
The committee would be divided under five specific technology focus  areas such as Student Learning (includes technology skills) ,Teacher Preparation and Delivery of Instruction , Administration / Data Management / Communication Processes , Resource Distribution and Use and Technical Support
The committee would then be assigned specific  and well defined roles and an appropriate team leader would be chosen.
The committee would be oriented on various important aspects of the plan and meetings will be scheduled at convenient timesPlanning Process- Vision statementFollowing guidelines and incorporating the Schools vision and mission statement an appropriate vision statement would be formulated.

Planning Process – Goals/ObjectivesIn the process of developing the vision statement, determining where we are now, and where we want to be , we would have identified the areas that are exemplary, adequate and most in need of improvement. The areas identified, as those in need of improvement, would potential goals.

Once these goals are established specific objectives would be planned that are clear, concise, measurable, adaptable to timelines and action plans and are observable.Planning Process-Develop action plans and timelines We would systematically identify each objective and brainstorm activities that would help master that objective.  Prioritize the activities and choose several for each objective that are realistic and doable with staff and facilities.
