The Black Hole In Science And Quran Ver1
OVERVIEWGeneral relativity predicted the existence of the black hole. In 1969 science had proven the existence of the black hole. A black hole is the end-point of massive stars. Massive stars, when ending their fuels, turn into black holes whose specific
characteristics are: (1) running (2) can't be seen (3) it has infinite gravityThe Holy Quran, the Holy Book which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (SWS), mentions the black hole by the same very specific characteristics.
Scientific IntroductionHow can a star end into a black hole?A black hole is one of the end point of massive stars, greater in mass than our sun. The end of stars is destined according to its mass.In order to withstand the fearful gravity, the star has to burn its contents (in nuclear reaction) to produce energy that keeps the star in balance and prevents it from falling inwards. In case of the stars that turn into black holes, the nuclear reaction goes on till the fuel needed for the nuclear reaction is exhausted, so the star begins to collapse into a pulsar if its mass is 12 times greater than that of the sun. If the mass of the star is greater, the star will collapse and nothing will stop its collapse till it turns into a black hole. A black hole has infinite density, zero volume and an immensely powerful magnetic field.
The Basic Features of Black Holes: One of the most specific features of a black hole is its fearful gravity. A black hole could swallow an entire solar system in seconds if the system enters the event horizon. Black Hole gravity is infinite that even light emitted from it can't escape its gravity despite its high velocity. A black hole is so dense that 100 million suns would be compressed to a globe 6 million kilometers in diameter. Our sun is only 1,390,000 kilometers in diameter. The Basic features of the BlackHoles are that they:(1) are running.(2) sweep whatever approaches it.(3) are invisible.
If a black hole is invisible, how is it pinpointed? A black hole can be found indirectly by observing its effects on the stars and gas close to it. For example, consider a double-star system in which the stars are very close. If one of the stars explodes as a supernova and creates a black hole, gas and dust from the companion star might be pulled toward the black hole if the companion wanders too close. In that case, the gas and dust are pulled toward the black hole and begin to orbit around the event horizon and then orbit the black hole. The gas becomes heavily compressed and the friction that develops among the atomsconverts the kinetic energy of the gas and dust into heat, and x-rays are emitted. Usingthe radiation coming from the orbiting material, scientists can measure its heat and speed. From the motion and heat of the circulating matter, we can infer the presence of a black hole http://amazing-space.stsci.edu/resources/explorations/blackholes/teacher/sciencebackground.html

God says in the Holy Quran what means :But nay! I swear by the (stars) receding/invisible, the running sweeping (stars) (Quran 81:58)The Chapter starts with some phenomenon that will accompany the last day, which are all related to the collapse of the universe; these , too, became scientifically established. God knows well that there will come a time when people will belie His Prophet, so God swears, though He doesn’t need to swear, that the Holy Qur’an is His word, revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (SWS) through Gabriel, the angel of revelation. What is really amazing is that the Holy Quran in this verse addresses us (in the age of space) and swears to us by something which was not known to the people at the time of the Prophet (SWS). He swears to us by a certain star with very specific characteristics, which can’t apply to any star but the black hole.
So the Holy Quran, more than 1400 years ago, referred to the black hole which was first discovered in 1967. So if God swears to you by something that was only discovered a few decades ago and was not known at the time of the revelation, then what He swears for must be true, ie: The Holy Qur’an is His word and that Muhammad (SWS) is His Prophet. A non-Muslim astronomer uses the same words the Holy Quran uses though he never read the Quran. He says, " It creates an immense gravitational pull not unlike an invisible cosmic vacuum cleaner. As it sucks in all matter in its way-not even light can escape. The Black hole is mentioned in the Holy Quran by its very specific characteristics; exactly as science says they are invisible, sweeping and rotating fast.
God says in the Holy Quran what means :But nay! I swear by the (stars) receding/invisible, the running sweeping (stars) (Quran 81:58)But nay! I swear by the (stars) receding/invisible, the running sweeping (stars) ( Quran 81:58) The star receding or invisible here is the black hole because light can’t escape the gravity of the black hole, so it is invisible or black as it is scientifically known. The Holy Quran describes this star by the word, ”running”. It is scientifically known that the black star rotates around itself more than one thousand times a second and its velocity is so high. Also, in the same verse the black hole is described as” sweeping”.
The Holy Quran is more accurate than science in selecting the scientific termThe Holy Quran is more accurate than science. The word black that science uses to name this star is not correct because “black” is a color and the black hole doesn’t give light at all , so the word“ invisible” that the Holy Quran uses to describe this star is more correct and significant as this star is truly invisible and its invisibility doesn’t have any relation with the black color.ASA Telescope Sees Black Hole Munch on a StarBut nay! Non-Muslim scientists give their witness to the divine source of the Holy QuranDr. YoshihideKozai is Professor Emeritus at Tokyo University, Hongo, Tokyo, Japan, and was the Director of the National Astronomical Observatory, Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan. He said:I am very much impressed by finding true astronomical facts in [the] Quran, and for us the modern astronomers have been studying very small pieces of the universe. We’ve concentrated our efforts for understanding of [a] very small part. Because by using telescopes, we can see only very few parts [of] the sky without thinking [about the] whole universe. So, by reading [the] Quran and by answering the questions, I think I can find my future way for the investigation of the universe.
