The Crossing Remixed
By: Isaac De La Cruz
Characterization
Well developed characterization throughout the
 entire book
  Billy
 16yr old with a lot of spunk and has no problem going out of his
way to help someone or something
  Boyd
 14yr old with the mouth to ask a question a minute
  Pap
 Nice man who wants to teach his kids the ropes
  Mom
 Thinks Boyd asks too many questions
Setting
          • I get the feeling
            of dense woods
            as the beginning
            unfolded but as it
            went on there
            was a transition
            to the dry plains
            in Arizona and
            into the Mexican
            Mountains

Plot
This all revolves around Billy who is
so infatuated with catching this Wolf
he has no clue what he’s going to do
 with it.
Once he catches it he wants to take it
home but realizes he can’t do that so
he set out to take it to the mountains
of Mexico where it came from so that
 it may deliver it’s pups.

Theme
The lesson for me in this book was do well
for others even if you’re in immediate threat
 of being mauled to death
Another thing that stood out was how
courteous Billy was it seemed no matter
what situation he always said please and
thank you with no back talk
Keeping your composure was what
seemed to be another big part of the novel
