The cyclops polyphemus
 Odysseus easily gets Polyphemus drunk, blinds him, and escapes by riding underneath the rams that the blinded giant turns out to graze in the morning.  They left polyphemus blinded on the shore.
FLOWER MYTHS: NARCISSUS, HY ACINTH, ADONIS
NARCISSUS  Glowing purple and silver.  While in the wilderness Persephone spied the beautiful flower and went toward it. This was the time when hades kidnapped her.

The nymps wanted to give him burial but can’t find him.  Instead they saw beautiful flower and named it after him.

THE STORY BEHIND HYACINTH The festival of hyacinthus That lasts throughout the tranquil night, In a contest with Apollo He was slain, Discus throwing they competed, And the god’s swift cast Sped beyond the goal he aimed at.
ADONIS  Aphrodite loved Adonis and carried to Perssephone to take charge of him for her.  But Persephone loved Adonis as well, and would not give Adonis back to Aphrodite.  Zeus decided that Adonis spent time with Persephone during autumn and winter while with Aphrodite during spring and summer.
