Vestibule training utilises equipment which closely resemble the actual ones used on the job.
• Tag Teams : one role played alternately by two participants
• Outward - bound training : Adventure sports for teams
• Mirroring : Training with an external perspective
• Strategic planners : Games to test ability to plan ahead
• Ice breakers : Games to get team members know each other
‘Training - formal and systematic modification of behaviour through learning which occurs
as a result of education, instruction, development and planned experience.” (Armstrong, 2001: 543)
Development : any learning activity, which is directed towards future, needs rather than present
needs, and which is concerned more with career growth than immediate performance.

Apprenticeship is a combination of on-the-job training (OJT) and related classroom
instruction under the supervision of a journey-level craft person or trade professional
in which workers learn the practical and theoretical aspects of a highly skilled
occupation.
