UFO’s By Sam K.
Defenition An unidentified flying object: a flying object whose nature is unknown; especially those considered to have extraterrestrial origins. Though many have claimed to see them, usually they are mistaken for by lights or flying vehicles.
Sighting From as early as the 15 th century to as current as January 4 th , UFO sightings are not uncommon. In today’s world of photo editing softwares such as Photoshop and CGI it is hard to tell the difference between reality and virtual reality. But before all that came some pretty crazy pictures. With the Some of the most famous finding include:
Painting of the Madonna and Saint Giovannino   Painting in the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, attributed to the 15th Century school of Filippo Lippi. As circled in the upper right section of the painting, you can see a strange looking object floating in the sky. This is a strange find knowing that there were no flying vehicles in the 15 th century. Below the “UFO” you can see a man and his dog are apparently looking at this thing in the sky.
Los Angeles, 1942 Just three months after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, this incident occurred between February 24th and 25th, when an unidentified flying object was spotted over Los Angeles. Assumed to be another air strike from Japan, the UFO sparked a massive anti-aircraft military attack. The true identity of the object is still unknown today.
The Washington D.C. Incident First spotted on an air traffic controller's radar, seven objects moved in unusual flight patterns that witnesses called bright orange lights. The most publicized sightings occurred in consecutive weekends with the objects moving over the White House. The incident was so publicized it prompted President Truman to demand an explanation.
Roswell, New Mexico The most famous UFO incident and suspected Government cover-up occurred in 1947. Recovered debris from an alien aircraft (or experimental high-altitude surveillance balloon as is claimed by the military) was found in the desert of New Mexico, beginning one of the biggest controversies and mysteries in U.S. history.
Conclusion As stated before UFO sightings aren’t rarity to say the least. These hallucinations are probably connected some way to Hollywood. Close Encounters of the Third Kind, District 9,Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, these are only a minute amount of the movies that feature these extraterrestrial vehicles. With the popularity of UFOs it is know wonder that humanity is misinterpreting airplanes and satellites as these fictional ships. Though these “sightings” sure seem like the real deal, I surely believe that UFOs are only available in the world of science fiction.
