What does UX/UI Design mean? UX Design: The process of designing better digital experiences for end users UI Design: The process of creating interfaces in software or devices while focusing on look and style
Why are UI/UX design important -Typically, users will only engage with you if your website is usable and enjoyable -A good user experience design will help increase engagement and Google ranking
What makes for a great user interface? -The information must be laid out in an intuitive and consistent manner - The interface must be able to keep up with users' demands. For example, there shouldn't be any lagging when users are trying to navigate through your pages -A user should easily be able to understand his or her way around your interface
What makes for a great user experience? -Focus on loading speed. Your website shouldn't take longer than 4 seconds to load -Use convincing call to action. Be creative! -Improve your content's readability by including headers, sub headers, and using large text. Content that has a good readability score is likely to perform better is search results
