When it is about
ICTs* it is common
to see several
approaches trying
to fit problems into
new technologies.
*ICTs - Information and
Communication Technologies
OR EVEN WORSE,
CREATING PROBLEMS JUST TO USE
THESE “COOL NEW TECHNOLOGIES”.
SORRY!
BUT THIS IS NOT
INNOVATION
Since 1996 we are
doing innovation with
ICTs, so we mean it
when we say…
THERE IS NO RECIPE TO INNOVATE.
BUT HERE IS A CLUE
Innovation needs to be
inside-out from the core of
your business.
Furthermore, it needs to be
from real problems and
necessities and not from
technology.
And its inception is on
consumers,
whoever they are.

Thinking from your customers’
perspective seems to be working
really well around the globe
AND THIS IS A TRULY
SUSTAINABLE AND
USER-CENTERED
INNOVATION.
THERE IS NOT A RECIPE, BUT
IT CAN BE SYSTEMATIZED
AND SCALABLE.
YOU JUST
NEED TO...
FIND WHERE YOUR
PROBLEM IS
AND HAVE A PROCESS TO
ALLOW INNOVATION TO
HAPPEN.
BUT TO DO THAT YOU
DON'T NEED JUST AN
ICT COMPANY...
…YOU NEED AN
INNOVATION
COMPANY.
And here it
is where we
come in :)
IF YOU CAN FIND WHERE
YOUR PROBLEM IS…
WE CAN HELP YOU WITH

SENIOR TEAM
WE HAVE THE
EXPERTISE
WE HAVE THE
MARKET VIEW
WE ALREADY
HAVE DONE IT
BEFORE.
Actually we have done it
several times and for
many industries.
Cases
CLIENT: An Indian division of a global player in the
hardware industry.
CHALLENGE: Find new technologies to attend masses of
poor people in need for education in developing
countries such as India. In this eighteen-month project,
it was studied interactions between teacher and
students in classroom to emulate a real environment for
a new and effective distance learning model. It was
researched and tested several devices and cases of use
of classrooms interactions.
APPROACH: PIC – C.E.S.A.R’s Innovation
Process, User-centered Design, Usability Studies,
Computer Vision.
Case: Defining a New Distance Learning Experience
Consultants specialized in Remote Learning; methods; Psychologists;
Software Engineers; Testing Engineers; UX Designers; Engineer
specialized in Computer Vision.
TECHNICAL PROFILE
CLIENT: A Brazilian company which is a leader provider
of finance automation solutions.
CHALLENGE: To redesign a user-centered interface POS
software solution. During seven weeks, it was applied
the C.E.S.A.R’s innovation process to underpin the actual
software use, and thereafter to develop a complete
new interface for it. In addition to the studies, it was
also delivered a graphical user-interface that was
developed in Java Swing.
APPROACH: User-centered innovation, Usability,
Prototyping, Java Swing.
Case: Point-of-Sale (POS) Software Interface Redesign
UX Researcher; UX Designer; Software Engineer specialized in Java
Swing.
TECHNICAL PROFILE
Case: Mobile Solution for Taxi Fleet
CLIENT: A Brazilian startup company which is a
provider of mobile services.
CHALLENGE: Research, Prototyping and
Development of a mobile automated solution to
find cabs and suggest routes based in contexts.
The solution was compounded of mobile and web
application modules to make the communication
between user and taxi driver quicker and more
efficient.
APPROACH: Quick ethnography, Ideation,
Prototyping of hardware and software, Embedded
Systems.
Electronics engineers (Embedded Systems), Graphic
Designers, Usability Engineers, Software Engineers, Testing
Engineers.

services and hardware.
CHALLENGE: Consulting in user experience to
identify trends patterns in the use of new
security technologies for ATM machines. It was
delivered a prototype of a new concept of an
ATM that was direct result of several usability
studies with users.
APPROACH: Field Research; Ideation
techniques; Definition of requests to
prototyping; Embedded Systems.
UX Researcher; UX Designer; Software Engineer,
