Active Directory :
 Basically Active Directory or Active Directory Domain
System (ADDS) Store things on central location. For
example Objects related to Resources, Services,
Credentials , Detail About Users, and there Passwords,
 On some Protected loacation .
 It stores logs of all the users, Assign and also denies
permission on the network

What Is Domain
 A Domain is a basic building block of active directory
structure
 A Domain is cluster of computers grouped together
managed by special server DOMAIN CONTROLERS
(DC).
 It is first step in creating active directory structure.
 Its given a fully qualified domain name .
 If use r registered an ISP then you can use that or you
can use your local domain name e.g UE_BSIT.local.

Domain Controller (DC)
 Is a Standalone Server running all active directory
services, Users can create multiple Domain Controller
to each DC have copy of active directory so if one
makes changes rest will be updated as well and this
Term Is known As Active Directory Replication .

Active Directory Structure
 When you create a new installation of active directory
You Create A FOREST ,
 Now another question is that what is This Thing
Called A FOREST in ADDS.
 A Forest initially is the container of single
implementation of the Active Directory and also a
domain is created with its creation and named as
Forest Root Domain . And there can be multiple
domains within an Organization.
