Fall 2013
UNBLOCK FILTER – UNLOCK IMAGINATION!
When students with motor and speech disorders
have the ability to express their knowledge (NETS
4.d), creativity (NETS 1.a) , and collaborative skills
(NETS 2.a) through a visual and auditory Web 2.0
tool;

They are engaged!

They have a sense of commonality to their
peers.

They can fulfill meta-cognition through
active learning.


Help educators, help our students
Teaching students who are verbally and physically frustrated, while
meeting the prescribed standards is challenging in itself.
If educators can not access tools for these “diamonds in the rough”,
how will they ever shine?
Voki is the “ease of operation” tool that can pull out our students
knowledge and connect them to the curriculum in a student
preferred medium.
We are obligated both morally and legally to provide F.A.P.E. to our
special needs students
ACCESSIBILITY FOR EDUCATORS AND STUDENTS


Voki’s menu is accessible, flexible, and FUN!
RESOURCE RICH! IDEAS, LESSONS AND MORE
UNBLOCK VOKI, UNLOCK OUR STUDENTS FUTURE!


I hope this presentation will provide the
information needed to lift the filter from Voki,
so that we can unveil our students with
disabilities confidence, knowledge, and
creative expression and representation!
