Radio Promotions
• We got affiliated with Radio Mirchi to
promote our event on air. Script was provided
to them
• Listening times were identified, as in the time
when songs requests are made by college
students. That was the time when we were
successful in hitting our TG.
• The kind of response that we got from this
promotional activity was amazing to get in
groups inquiries from students.
Colleges
• Here we had made a presentation on the
event details as in activities that were strong
enough to attract large crowds. We had to
surpass Essel World’s event for the same day,
as a result the Presentation was made to
match that caliber
• We had targeted good colleges between
Borivali and Virar where in the presentation
was played in the auditorium
Taxis and BEST BUS
• Event’s sticker was stuck behind taxis and a
small video highlighting the features of the
park was being played in the BEST bus TVs
Spas and Salons
• We got affiliated with Sukho Thai and Four
Seasons Spa to sell your vouchers with
discount for customers at the time of checking
out
Companies
• We had got affiliated with corporate and MNC
companies to promote our event amongst
their employees
• This involved sending emailers from the HR
department to their employees highlighting
the event details
• Event standee was also setup in the staff
canteen for brand recall purpose
Mid-Day
• Mid-Day featured our event’s ad two times in
the month of December, once in 15 days being
the duration

• The event was promoted with interesting
content strategy on Facebook.
• Twitter contests were done by using hashtags
like #mumbai #newyear
• Interesting content was posted on Facebook
and twitter
• Details of the vent was highlighted as in who is
performing, food and beverage details,
activities etc
Media Planning and Buying
• We had identified websites which were
popular amongst people from Mumbai
• Once that was done we did banner advertising
on such popular websites both paid and free
ones
Website
• Any one who clicks on the banners in media planning
an buying were straight away directed towards the
website of yazoo park where one could see the
details of the event
• Whenever any one used to open the website there
was a banner flashing at the very beginning giving
details about the event.
• We did an application on the face book fan page
where interested people could give in their details to
inquire more about the event, that application was
synchronised with the website.
Search Engine Marketing
• Whenever any one used to search on google
stuff like “new year event in mumbai” or “new
year party in mumbai” or “2012 party across
mumbai” etc we made sure that the website
of yazoo park along with the event details gets
featured on the first page. Because during the
new year there is lot of competition from
other organisations hosting an event for the
new year, as a result we used to balance
between the first page and the second page.
Online Portals
• We got affiliated with online portals with Buzz
in Town, Mera Events, Evening flavors, Snap
Deal, Book My Show.
• We were successful in surpassing essel world’s
event for the new year on snap deal
Summary
• Initially we had a target to get in around
10,000 people for the event.
• We were successful in getting 8000 people for
the event and the event was a big grand
success with popular people entraining the
crowd.
