     Sir Thomas Blake, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Valentine Blake, 3rd Bt. and Eleanor Lynch.1 He married, secondly, Ellinor Lynch.2 He married, firstly, Mary Martin, daughter of Richard Martin, in 1649.1 He and Maria French obtained a marriage license on 6 October 1656.1,2 He died in September 1676.2
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Blake, of Galway [I., 1622] circa 1654.1 He lived at Menlough, County Galway, IrelandG.1

Mary Martin1

     Mary Martin was the daughter of Richard Martin.1 She married Sir Thomas Blake, 4th Bt., son of Sir Valentine Blake, 3rd Bt. and Eleanor Lynch, in 1649.1 She died after 1649, without issue.1
     From 1649, her married name became Blake.1

     Sir Valentine Blake, 5th Bt. was born in 1664.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Blake, 4th Bt. and Maria French.1 He died in October 1686, killed treacherously in a duel, unmarried.1,2
     He lived at Menlough, County Galway, IrelandG.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Blake, of Galway [I., 1622] in September 1676.1

     Sir Walter Blake, 6th Bt. was born after 1665. He was the son of Sir Thomas Blake, 4th Bt. and Maria French.1 He married, firstly, Anne Kirwan, daughter of Sir John Kirwan, on 10 August 1687.1 He married, secondly, Agnes Blake, daughter of John Blake, in 1706.2 He died in May 1748 at Marlborough Street, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 14 May 1748.1
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Blake, of Galway [I., 1622] in October 1686.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Colonel Dillon's Regiment of Foot, in King James II's Irish Army.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Galway [Ireland] in 1689.1 He was the first Roman Catholic of distinction to join William III's invasion of Ireland, where he raised and maintained a regiment at his own expense.1 He lived at Menlough, County Galway, IrelandG.1

     Anne Kirwan was the daughter of Sir John Kirwan.1 She married Sir Walter Blake, 6th Bt., son of Sir Thomas Blake, 4th Bt. and Maria French, on 10 August 1687.1 She died in August 1705.2
     From 10 August 1687, her married name became Blake.1
