     Diana Margaret Hambro was born on 8 February 1913.1 She is the daughter of Bertram Emil Hambro and Margaret Constance Nevile Lubbock.2 She married Alexis Christopher Ladas, son of Christo Ladas, on 23 October 1945.1 She and Alexis Christopher Ladas were divorced in 1955 at MexicoG.1
     She was educated at Girton College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 From 23 October 1945, her married name became Ladas. She was the vice-principal at Queen's Gate School, London, EnglandG.1
