     He held the office of High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire in 1865.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire.¹ He lived at Wavendon House, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Thomas Veale Lane was the son of Reverend Richard Lane.² He married Hon. Juliana Sarah Pellew, daughter of Pownoll Bastard Pellew, 2nd Viscount Exmouth and Eliza Harriet Barlow, on 14 September 1836 at St. James's Parish CHurch, Christow, Devon, England.^3,2 He died on 25 November 1888.

     Julia Lucy Lane was the daughter of Thomas Veale Lane and Hon. Juliana Sarah Pellew.² She married Henry Arthur Hoare, son of Sir Henry Hugh Hoare, 3rd Bt. and Maria Palmer Acland, on 20 July 1859.¹ She died on 27 August 1916.¹
     From 20 July 1859, her married name became Hoare.¹

     Sir Henry Hugh Arthur Hoare, 6th Bt. was born on 19 November 1865.¹ He was the son of Henry Arthur Hoare and Julia Lucy Lane.³ He married Alda Weston, daughter of William Henry Purcell Weston, on 4 October 1887.¹ He died on 25 March 1947 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Hoare, of Barn Elms, co. Surrey [G.B., 1786] on 7 July 1894.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1915.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire.¹
