     Helena Violet Alice Fraser was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. James Keith Fraser and Amelia Alice Julia Ward.^1,2 She married George Edward John Mowbray Rous, 3rd Earl of Stradbroke, son of John Edward Cornwallis Rous, 2nd Earl of Stradbroke and Augusta Musgrave, on 23 July 1898.¹ She died on 14 April 1949, as the result of an accident.¹
     She was appointed Dame of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)¹ After her marriage, Helena Violet Alice Fraser was styled as Countess of Stradbroke on 23 July 1898. Her married name became Rous. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.² She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1927.¹

     John Randal Beresford-Ash was born on 21 January 1938.¹ He was the son of Major Douglas Beresford-Ash and Lady Betty Helena Joanna Rous.¹ He married Agnès Marie Colette Montmoreau, daughter of Comte Jules Marie Guy de Lamberterie de la Chapelle Montmoreau, on 27 March 1968.¹ He died on 3 April 2010 at age 72.²
