     Blanche Emma Beatrice Case is the daughter of John Ashton Case.2 She married Maj.-Gen. George Hamilton Gordon, son of Robert Cumming Hamilton Gordon and Frances Freer, on 22 November 1860.1
     From 22 November 1860, her married name became Gordon.

     Edward Hyde Hamilton Gordon was born on 8 November 1861.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. George Hamilton Gordon and Blanche Emma Beatrice Case.2 He married, firstly, Cecilia Maude Manders, daughter of Robert Manders, on 4 January 1888.1 He married, secondly, Hilda Winifred D'Arcy Hutton, daughter of John Timothy D'Arcy Hutton, on 14 October 1897.1 He and Hilda Winifred D'Arcy Hutton were divorced.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Gordon Highlanders.1 He fought in the Sudan Expedition in 1884.1

     From 4 January 1888, her married name became Gordon.
