     Stephen Tempest was born on 1 May 1756.1 He was the son of Stephen Walter Tempest and Frances Olive Meynell.2 He married Elizabeth Blundell, daughter of Henry Blundell and Elizabeth Mostyn, on 1 May 1789.1 He died on 28 November 1824 at age 68.1
     He lived at Broughton Hall, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He had six other sons and four other daughters.1

Sir Charles Robert Tempest, 1st and last Bt.1

     Sir Charles Robert Tempest, 1st and last Bt. was born on 21 April 1794.1 He was the son of Stephen Tempest and Elizabeth Blundell.2 He died on 8 December 1865 at age 71, unmarried.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire in 1839.1 He was created 1st Baronet Tempest, of Broughton Hall and Coleby, co. Lincoln [U.K.] in 1841.1 He was (an unknown value) at Broughton Hall, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He lived at Coleby, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
