Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is commemoratingInternational Women's Day on the 8th of March with the approval of the Third Equality Plan. This plan aims to guarantee the fundamental right to equality for women who work and study at UC3M, enabling them to freely pursue their academic and professional careers. To contribute to this goal, the Vice-Rector's Office for Institutional Relations, Culture and Equality has organised and supported a programme of events and activities around the day (8M) in which the entire university community is invited to participate.


Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) has presented three scientific research projects contributing to the fight against tuberculosis, the leading cause of death from infectious disease in the world. The ultimate goal of the three projects, called ERA4TB, TAINT-TB and TCOLF-TC312, is to accelerate the development of new drugs and contribute to the fulfilment of the World Health Organization's (WHO) End TB Strategy 2030.
