Word form vs. linguistic form
[edit]I take this to refer to "word form". The term "linguistic form" is much broader and cannot be synonymous. This interpretation matches multiple languages, including German.
I need to find some good sources that define "word form". I might be easier to find "inflected form", which is much less ambiguous as a term. Dan Polansky (talk) 12:52, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
M-W defines "linguistic form" as "a meaningful unit of speech (such as a morpheme, word, or sentence)", which clearly differs from "word form". --Dan Polansky (talk) 12:55, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
