Library / archives / museums type person.

Since June 2021, I've been an employee of the Smithsonian Institution, funded through the American Women's History Initiative and working at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. I will not make any edits that would not be beneficial to the goals of Wikipedia and the Wikimedia community. My main edits for the Smithsonian Institution will be on Wikidata and Commons and will relate to artists, artworks, other art related concepts and people, gender, and engaging with the community. I will modify my editing behavior based on problems cited by other editors or if my editing conflicts with other Wikipedia guidelines. I ask that other editors do not hesitate to contact me, via my user talk page, if I appear to be going against this declaration.

As a former cataloger and metadata librarian, some of my data modeling may borrow from library practices and frameworks when applicable and when no consensus exists. I'm open to adopting and helping to grow data models from existing communities with overlapping content, so please be in touch if I'm doing something differently than you.
