Letterboxd actor ID (P6119) and Wikidata property for an identifier that suggests notability (Q62589316)
[edit]Hey hey, I was looking at Letterboxd actor ID (P6119) and noticed that back in 2019 your bot added Wikidata property for an identifier that suggests notability (Q62589316) to it https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?diff=897804861&oldid=873587277&title=Property:P6119 Just wondering why the bot added it? Did this get imported from somewhere? How was it decided or determined? ·addshore· talk to me! 13:16, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- I can't recall an edit from five and a half years ago. I assume that it simply seemed that that was the case then; if you think it no longer applies, feel free to open a discussion, with examples where it does not apply. [edit]Hi Andy, I was wondering maybe you could help this guy out? I am not as familiar as you are with all the notability rules but this property proposal is not something I would vote for in its current state. I am trying to explain why to this user, who I believe is trying to do something worthy together with the National Trust on archaeological excavations. Thx in advance. Hey Andy, look at me out of my depth! ;) Thought you might like that item. I've uploaded my photos to the attached Commons category as well. I reckon it's easily notable by enwiki standards. Turns out there's quite a bit to see in Bexhill. Let me know if you're ever down south; would be good to have a pint! All the best, Harry Mitchell (talk) 22:07, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
ORCID harvest
[edit]Hi,
I am french and our ministry created an open science barometer https://frenchopensciencemonitor.esr.gouv.fr/about/methodology.
They have published some code for harvesting ORCIDs (and other bilibometry-related data). I don't have the skills to know wether this can be reused in any way for wikidata but I am sharing just in case : https://github.com/dataesr/harvest-orcid/tree/main Jeanne Noiraud (talk) 12:35, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
