Motivation
[edit]TVMaze is an interesting and useful open source database of TV shows. We currently have references to imdb and the-tvdb which are proprietary databases. There doesn't appear to be any property for matching wikidata entities up with this open source database.

- Support Looks like a serious and useful website. Gregory david baker: You shoud link the examples, so we can see them directly. Esteban16 (talk) 13:22, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- Support Seems like an active community driven and standardised website. Agree with the above: You should link the examples, so we can see them directly. Thanks! Wallacegromit1 (talk) 15:59, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- Comment There are a few using described at URL (P973), but they are with "episode" and "people" in the url: [1]. If the number is unique across all three (show, people, episode), maybe we can find a better formatter url. --- Jura 16:08, 4 September 2020 (UTC)

Esteban16 and Wallacegromit1 -- I've updated the links... is this what you were meaning?
Jura Unfortunately, I don't think the integer is unique. TVmaze has a namespace for shows, people & episodes and the same number can appear in all of them, with no relationship between them. e.g. https://www.tvmaze.com/people/7809/roxana-ortega and https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/7809 and https://www.tvmaze.com/episodes/7809 have nothing to do with each other. So I'm updating this proposal to be "TVMaze Show ID". I'll add two more proposals for "TVMaze Episode ID" and "TVMaze Person ID".
