discovering and mining the Web usage in
different countries, but none of these dedicated to
the Arab countries. This paper aims at
discovering the Web usage in six Arab countries
(Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestinian territories,
Saudi Arabia and Syria) through analyzing the
top sites and top searches for these countries by
comparing the collected data to find the
percentages of similarities and differences within
these countries. Data collection for Jordan and
five other neighboring countries were recorded
for the period of around 1 month (from
01/Oct/2010 to 31/ Oct /2010). The results show
differences in Web usage between these countries
and the tests show that these differences are
statistically significant through the use of Chisquare
test for independence.
