The participants of the study were 71 students from two intact sections of the sixth-grade students from a public school in Jordan. They were assigned randomly into two groups: an experimental group (n=35) and a control group (n=36). A pre-/post-test was designed entailing three levels of reading comprehension (the literal, inferential and critical level). The experimental group was taught through using the instructional program of gamification by the ClassDojo Website, whereas the control group was taught conventionally by the Teacher's Book of Action Pack 6. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences at (α= 0.05) between the experimental and control group students' mean scores on the overall reading comprehension post-test and in each level of reading comprehension (i.e. the literal, inferential and critical level) favouring the students in the experimental group who were taught by using gamification.

This study investigated the readability level of the 12 th-grade English textbooks and also examined if the reading texts used in Action Pack 12 were suitable linguistically for the 12 th-grade students. This study adopted the qualitative descriptive design by using the Fry Graph to calculate the readability level. The researchers chose randomly 20 texts out of 36 texts as a sample of the study. The results revealed that 80% out of the 20 texts were under the level of the 12 th-grade students in Jordan. Also, the results indicated that 15 % of the texts were invalid and only 5% of the texts were within the 12 th-grade students' level. The findings also indicated that Action Pack 12 was suitable linguistically for 12 th-grade students. Several recommendations are put forth.

The participants of the study were 45 females students from two sections of eight grade students from a public school, Dahiyet Al Hussein Elementary School for Girls in Amman, Jordan in the first semester of the academic year 2016\ 2017. Those participants included the two intact groups of the study: (1) the control group which included (23) girls who were taught by the traditional method, and (2) the experimental group which included (22) girls who were taught by the Web Quests. The instrument used to collect data was a grammar pre-test and a grammar post-test. Results showed that Web Quests was not effective in improving Jordanian eight graders' grammar learning. The study also indicated that there were significant differences due to the GPA of eight graders' female students in favor of high GPA.

To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher used a questionnaire that consisted of (32) items. The sample consisted of (104) male and female teachers of English assigned to teach in the Directorate of Education in Russiafa, Jordan. The results revealed that English teachers have positive attitudes towards using Facebook in their teaching. Furthermore, the results showed that there were statistical significant differences in these attitudes due to gender in favor of males in the third and fifth domains (efficacy of Facebook supported learning in comparison with traditional learning and efficacy of Facebook exercises), and due to qualification in favor of M.A holders in the second domain (improving language skills via Facebook). Also, there were statistical significant differences in these attitudes due to teaching experience in favor of those with less than 5yeras experience on the second and fourth domains (improving language skills via Facebook and the use of Facebook in the feedback).
