- Point Lynas Lighthouse (Welsh: Goleudy Trwyn y Balog) is located on a headland in Llaneilian Community, on the north-east corner of Anglesey in North Wales (at grid reference SH479936). A pilot station was established on the point in 1766, to guide ships entering and leaving Liverpool, with an associated lighthouse added in 1779. The present building was built on the hilltop in 1835, so does not need a tower. Built and managed by the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board, it did not come under the care of Trinity House until 1973. By 2001 the lights were fully automated, so no resident staff were needed. Whilst the light is retained in operational use, the building and associated lighthouse keepers cottages were returned to the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board who sold them to be a private home and holiday accommodation. - Il faro di Point Lynas (in gallese: Trwyn y Balog) è un faro situato a circa 2 chilometri a est del villaggio di Llaneilian nella contea di Anglesey in Galles. Il faro è inserito nell'elenco dei monumenti della Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales. Il faro si trova all'estremità settentrionale dell'isola. Dal 1766, il sito in cui fu eretto il primo faro nel 1779 fu utilizzato dal Liverpool Pilotage Service come base per i piloti che entravano nel porto di Liverpool. L'attuale faro e gli edifici furono costruiti nel 1835 da Mersey Docks e Harbour Board, che il 2 aprile 1973 trasferì la responsabilità per il lavoro del faro alla Trinity House. Latarnia jest wpisana na listę zabytków Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales. Latarnia położona jest na północnym krańcu wyspy. Już od 1766 roku miejsce, w którym w 1779 roku postawiono pierwszą latarnię, było wykorzystywane przez The Liverpool Pilotage Service jako baza dla pilotów wprowadzających statki do portu w Liverpoolu. Obecna latarnia wraz z zabudowaniami została zbudowana w 1835 roku przez Mersey Docks and Harbour Board, które 2 kwietnia 1973 roku przekazało odpowiedzialność za pracę latarni Trinity House. W 1879 roku, w obrębie latarni dobudowano dwa nowe budynki i utworzono stację telegrafu. Latarnia została zelektryfikowana w 1951 roku, natomiast zautomatyzowano ją w 1989 roku.
