- La culture de Sopot est une culture néolithique et archéologique de Slavonie orientale dans la Croatie actuelle. Elle prend la suite de la culture de Starčevo et est fortement influencée par la culture Vinča (Samatovci, Sopot, Otok, Privlaka, Vinkovci-Ervenica, Osijek, Bapska, Županja et Klokočevik). Elle s'est propagée dans le nord de la Bosnie depuis sa zone d'origine à l'ouest jusqu'au nord-ouest de la Croatie et au nord vers la Hongrie, où elle a aidé la Culture de Lengyel à débuter. Cette culture date d'environ 5000 ans avant J.C.. Les colonies ont été élevées sur les berges de la rivière de Bosut, autour de la zone de la ville moderne de Vinkovci. (fr)
- The Sopot culture is a neolithic archaeological culture that was first identified in eastern Slavonia in modern-day Croatia, and was since also found in several sites in Hungary. It was a continuation of the Starčevo culture and strongly influenced by the Vinča culture. Some of the archeological sites where artifacts of it were found include Samatovci, Vinkovci–, Otok, Privlaka, Vinkovci–, Osijek, Bapska, Županja, . It spread into northern Bosnia from its original area to the west to northwestern Croatia and to the north to Hungarian Transdanubia, where it helped Lengyel culture start. The culture dates to around 5000 BC. Settlements were raised on the river banks (most noticeably on the banks of Bosut, around the area of the modern city of Vinkovci). Houses were square and made of wood using interlace technique, sometimes separated into multiple rooms. Artefacts include many weapons made of bone, flint, obsidian, and ironed volcanic rocks and some ceramic pottery of various sizes (biconical pots with two handles, conic bowls, pots, and s-shaped pots) decorated by carvings or light stabbings and painting. The eponym site is , an archeological site near Vinkovci, which was dated to 5480–3790 BC. The culture was first identified in 1949 by , and first named after this site in 1968 by , and has been generally referred to as such since 1971. (en)

Мала поширення від північноїБоснії до північно-західної Хорватії та на північ до Задунайської Угорщини, де надало старт Ленделівській культурі. Культура датується приблизно 5000 р. до Р, Х, Поселення були підняті на берегах річок (найпомітніше на берегах Босута, біля району сучасного міста Вінківці). Будинки були квадратними та виготовлялися з дерева за допомогою техніки переплетення, іноді мали поділ на декілька кімнат. Серед артефактів — багато зброї з кістки, кременю, обсидіану та вигладжених вулканічних порід та деякої кількості кераміки різного розміру (біконічні горщики з двома ручками, конічні миски, горщики та s-подібні горщики), прикрашені різьбленням або легкими колотими та розписом.
