The US unemployment rate fell to 7.3 percent in August, a new low for the recovery. The economy gained 169,000 payroll jobs, slightly less than the average for the past year.
US Job Growth Weak in June, Unemployment Holds SteadyEd Dolan
The U.S. job market remained weak in June with an addition of only 80,000 jobs, little changed from the previous months. While the private sector added 84,000 jobs, this was offset by a loss of 4,000 government jobs. The unemployment rate held steady at 8.2% as the labor force increased slightly. The percentage of long-term unemployed (those unemployed for 27 weeks or longer) declined slightly but remains elevated.
U.S. Inflation Indicators Come in Below Target as the Global Economy Begins t...Ed Dolan
The document summarizes US inflation data for December 2012. It reports that the headline CPI showed little change, core inflation slowed slightly to 1.8%, and trimmed mean inflation remained moderate at 1.5%. All three major inflation indicators remained below the Fed's implicit 2% inflation target for December. The document also notes that economists look at core and trimmed mean inflation to judge underlying trends, and that longer-term year-over-year inflation rates are beginning to fall again.
The US economy added 157,000 payroll jobs in January according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The private sector added 157,000 jobs while government lost 9,000 jobs. Revisions to 2012 jobs data showed 324,000 more jobs were created than previously reported. The unemployment rate ticked up slightly to 7.9% as the labor force and number of employed workers increased while the number of unemployed rose by 12,000. Long-term unemployment fell to its lowest level since 2010.
US Labor Market Shows Moderate Gains in MayEd Dolan
The US labor market continued moderate improvement in May. 175,000 new payroll jobs were added, mostly in the service sector, while the unemployment rate rose slightly. The broader U6 unemployment rate matching its low for the recovery at 13.8%. Involuntary part-time work and long-term unemployment continued gradual declines. Job growth estimates for February and March were revised upward.
The document discusses whether the Federal Reserve ("the Fed") could become insolvent due to its highly expansionary quantitative easing programs. While the Fed could technically operate with negative capital, it would be an embarrassing position. The only entity that could recapitalize the Fed is the US Treasury, but doing so would be difficult politically and could limit the Fed's independence. In summary, the Fed's unconventional policies have increased risks to its balance sheet, raising questions about whether it could technically "go broke."

The document discusses the concept of the Non-Accelerating Inflation Rate of Unemployment (Nairu). The Nairu represents the lowest level of unemployment an economy can sustain before wages and prices begin to rapidly increase. It captures both parts of the Federal Reserve's dual mandate to achieve maximum employment and price stability. However, estimating the precise Nairu is difficult because the relationship between unemployment and inflation has changed over time and the Phillips Curve is no longer stable. Nonetheless, the Federal Reserve monitors unemployment relative to estimates of the Nairu when making decisions around interest rates and monetary policy.
How Liberals and Conservatives Can Talk About Climate changeEd Dolan
Many liberals are afraid to talk to their conservative friends and neighbors about climate change. They think it is a waste of time and that all conservatives are climate deniers. Their conservative friends have similar feelings about liberals. Here is why liberals and conservatives should talk to each other about climate and how a constructive dialog is possible.
This document provides a tutorial on consumer and producer surplus. It explains that the demand curve represents how much consumers will buy at different prices or the maximum consumers will pay for each unit. Consumer surplus is the difference between what consumers actually pay and the maximum they would have paid, which is the area under the demand curve above the market price. The supply curve represents the minimum price producers will accept to supply each unit or their marginal costs. Producer surplus is the difference between the revenue earned and total costs, which is the area above the supply curve but below the market price. The combined consumer and producer surplus represents the total gains from trade.

2) Deflation becomes problematic when nominal interest rates hit 0%, as further deflation causes real interest rates to rise, discouraging borrowing and economic activity. Unexpected deflation can also cause losses for banks by reducing the value of loans and collateral.

The Economics of a Price-Smoothing Oil TaxEd Dolan
An oil importing country can protect itself from the adverse effects of price volatility and encourage energy conservation by implementing a tax that varies inversely with the global oil price, thereby smoothing the domestic price.
Government agencies reported US GDP growth at a 3.6 percent in Q3. The economy added 203,000 jobs in November and unemployment fell to 7 percent, a new low for the recovery
Banks may take excessive risks due to contagion effects, moral hazard, and agency problems. Contagion effects can cause bank failures to spread from one bank to others. Moral hazard arises from deposit insurance which can encourage banks to take greater risks. Agency problems occur when bank executives are incentivized to pursue high risk strategies that benefit themselves rather than shareholders and depositors. These issues suggest banks may require regulation to limit their risk-taking.

The US Bureau of Economic Analysis revised US GDP growth in the first quarter of 2013 down to 1.8% from the previous estimate of 2.4%. This represents a slower rate of growth than the previous quarter. Exports declined for the second consecutive quarter as the global economy slowed, while government spending cuts continued to drag on overall growth, referred to as "fiscal drag". Consumption remained the largest contributor to growth.

Businesses must optimize their supply chain to remain competitive. Seamlessly integrating freight forwarding, trucking, and warehousing services can significantly improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. A well-coordinated logistics strategy is essential for businesses dealing with large shipments, furniture storage, and distribution operations.
The Importance of an Integrated Logistics Approach
A logistics service provider in Singapore must ensure a seamless flow of goods from the manufacturer to the end customer. This process involves multiple stages, including freight forwarding, trucking, and warehousing. When these elements operate in isolation, inefficiencies arise, leading to delays and increased costs. However, integrating them into a cohesive system offers several benefits:
Cost Efficiency: Reduced handling, storage, and transportation costs through streamlined operations.
Faster Delivery: Optimized transit times due to better coordination between different logistics components.
Improved Inventory Management: Centralized storage and real-time tracking enhance stock control.
Better Resource Utilization: Trucks and warehouses are used efficiently, reducing idle time and wastage.
Enhanced Scalability: Businesses can scale operations more effectively by utilizing integrated logistics services.
Customer Satisfaction: Faster deliveries and accurate order fulfillment enhance the overall customer experience.
Freight Forwarding: The First Step in Logistics Optimization Freight forwarding is the backbone of global supply chains. It involves managing the transportation of goods across international borders using various modes, including air, sea, and land. A logistics service provider specializing in freight forwarding plays a crucial role in:
Customs Clearance: Handling documentation and compliance requirements to ensure smooth international trade.
Carrier Selection: Choosing the most cost-effective and reliable transportation options.
Cargo Consolidation: Combining smaller shipments to optimize container space and reduce costs.
Route Optimization: Selecting the best routes to minimize transit time and costs.
Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks such as delays, damage, and unforeseen expenses.
By partnering with a reliable freight forwarder, businesses can streamline their global shipping processes and reduce the risks associated with international logistics.
Trucking: Bridging the Gap Between Freight and Warehousing
Once goods arrive at ports or distribution centers, trucking services become essential for last-mile delivery. Efficient trucking operations ensure timely deliveries and minimize disruptions. Key strategies for optimizing trucking include:
Fleet Management: Using GPS tracking and route optimization software to reduce delays and fuel consumption.
Load Optimization: Maximizing truck capacity to lower transportation costs per unit.
Timely Scheduling: Coordinating truc

Life is amusingly funny. One minute I was waiting for my morning coffee, and the next, I was eavesdropping on a barista raving about Salvage Asset Recovery like they were actual superheroes.
At the time, I laughed it off. I was under the impression that I would never need such crypto recovery services. My wallet was safe, my security was on solid grounds-or so it seemed.
That all changed one week later. I had been planning to transfer some Bitcoin when, out of nowhere, my wallet rejected my credentials. Incorrect password.
I tried again. And again. Panic set in.
My $330,000 was locked away, and for the life of me, I couldn't remember the password. I was sure I had it right, but the wallet said otherwise. That's when I remembered the barista's enthusiastic endorsement of Salvage Asset Recovery; desperate, I looked them up and decided to reach out. From the very first message, their team showed patience, understanding, and a great deal of professionalism, assuring me that I wasn't the first-not to say the last-person in the world who had lost access to his wallet because he forgot the password. Their confidence set me at ease, but I couldn't help it: I was nervous. Was my Bitcoin gone forever? Not a chance. Over the succeeding days, their experts worked through different advanced decryption techniques to crack my forgotten password. They swam through the security layers, tested all sorts of possible variations, and-miraculously-got me back in. It felt like I had won the lottery when I saw my balance restored. I must have sounded just like that barista, singing Salvage Asset Recovery's praises to anyone who would listen, as the relief was overwhelming. They didn't just recover my funds but also gave me practical advice on password management, securing my crypto, and avoiding similar disasters in the future. Nowadays, every time I pass that coffee shop, I make sure to leave a fat tip—just because, if it wasn't for that conversation, I could still be locked out of my Bitcoin.
Lesson learned: Always double-check your passwords. And if you ever find yourself locked out of your crypto, Salvage Asset Recovery is the name to remember.

HIRE A HACKER TO RECOVER SCAMMED CRYPTO// CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVENduranolivia584
One night, deep within one of those YouTube rabbit holes-you know, the ones where you progress from video to video until you already can't remember what you were searching for-well, I found myself stuck in crypto horror stories. I have watched people share how they lost access to their Bitcoin wallets, be it through hacks, forgotten passwords, glitches in software, or mislaid seed phrases. Some of the stupid mistakes made me laugh; others were devastating losses. At no point did I think I would be the next story. Literally the next morning, I tried to get to my wallet like usual, but found myself shut out. First, I assumed it was some sort of minor typo, but after multiple attempts-anything I could possibly do with the password-I realized that something had gone very wrong. $400,000 in Bitcoin was inside that wallet. I tried not to panic. Instead, I went back over my steps, checked my saved credentials, even restarted my device. Nothing worked. The laughter from last night's videos felt like a cruel joke now. This wasn't funny anymore. It was then that I remembered: One of the videos on YouTube spoke about Cranix Ethical Solutions Haven. It was some dude who lost his crypto in pretty similar circumstances. He swore on their expertise; I was out of options and reached out to them. From the very moment I contacted them, their staff was professional, patient, and very knowledgeable indeed. I told them my case, and then they just went ahead and introduced me to the plan. They reassured me that they have dealt with cases similar to this-and that I wasn't doomed as I felt. Over the course of a few days, they worked on meticulously analyzing all security layers around my wallet, checking for probable failure points, and reconstructing lost credentials with accuracy and expertise. Then came the call that changed everything: “Your funds are safe. You’re back in.” I can’t even put into words the relief I felt at that moment. Cranix Ethical Solutions Haven didn’t just restore my wallet—they restored my sanity. I walked away from this experience with two important lessons:
1. Never, ever neglect a wallet backup.
2. If disaster strikes, Cranix Ethical Solutions Haven is the only name you need to remember.
If you're reading this and thinking, "That would never happen to me," I used to think the same thing. Until it did.

2. 169,000 New Payroll Jobs in August
Payroll jobs grew by 169,000 in
August, slightly below average for
recent months
June and July data were revised
downward.
Manufacturing gained 14,000 jobs,
reversing recent losses. However,
most new jobs were in services.
The government sector gained
17,000 new jobs, almost entirely
due to an increase in local
government education
September 8, 2013 Ed Dolan’s Econ Blog
3. Unemployment Rate Falls to New Low
The US unemployment rate fell to 7.3% in
August, a new low for the recovery.
The unemployment rate is the ratio of
unemployed persons to the labor force.
The labor force decreased by 312,000 for
the month. The number of employed
workers fell by 115,000 and the number of
unemployed decreased by 198,000
The unemployment rate is based on a
survey of households that is separate
from the payroll jobs survey. Unlike the
payroll survey, it includes self-employed
and farm workers
September 8, 2013 Ed Dolan’s Econ Blog
4. Broad vs. Standard Unemployment Rate
The BLS also provides a broader
measure of job-market stress, U-6
The numerator of U-6 includes
Unemployed persons
Marginally attached persons who
would like to work but are not
looking because they think there
are no jobs, or for personal reasons
Part-time workers who would prefer
full-time work but can’t find it
The denominator includes the labor
force plus the marginally attached
U-6 fell to 13.7 percent in August,
also a new low for the recovery
September 8, 2013 Ed Dolan’s Econ Blog
5. Long-term Unemployment Rises Slightly
The recession and slow recovery have
been characterized by unusually high
levels of long-term unemployment
The percentage of the unemployed
out of work for 27 weeks or rose
slightly to 37.9 percent in August, a
break with the generally downward
trend
Both the median and mean duration of
unemployment increased
September 8, 2013 Ed Dolan’s Econ Blog
6. Involuntary Part-time Work Decreases

It excludes people who work part
time by preference
