This study is a follow-up to the publication of the literal Slavonic translation of Third Oratio against the Arians by Athanasius of Alexandria, copied in the collection by Gavrilo Stefanović Venclović Razglagolnik istinogo života, 1732-1734. The text of Oratio III in Razglagolnik was published in Пенкова 2021 on the basis of the manuscript 95, stored in the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Arhiv SANU, Inv. br. 95/135/). The free (or literary, as opposed to literal)
Old Bulgarian translation of Oratio III, prepared by Konstantin Preslavski in 906, can be found in two editions: Пенкова 2016 and Lytvinenko 2021. Both authors rely on manuscript 968 (St. Petersburg, RNB Pog. 968) from the year 1489.
