Computational marketing has become increasingly important in today's digital world, facing challenges such as massive heterogeneous data, multi-channel customer journeys, and limited marketing budgets. In this paper, we propose a general framework for marketing AI systems, the Neural Optimization with Adaptive Heuristics (NOAH) framework. NOAH is the first general framework for marketing optimization that considers both to-business (2B) and to-consumer (2C) products, as well as both owned and paid channels. We describe key modules of the NOAH framework, including prediction, optimization, and adaptive heuristics, providing examples for bidding and content optimization. We then detail the successful application of NOAH to LinkedIn's email marketing system, showcasing significant wins over the legacy ranking system. Additionally, we share details and insights that are broadly useful, particularly on: (i) addressing delayed feedback with lifetime value, (ii) performing large-scale linear programming with randomization, (iii) improving retrieval with audience expansion, (iv) reducing signal dilution in targeting tests, and (v) handling zero-inflated heavy-tail metrics in statistical testing.

We observed magnetocapacitance oscillations in InAs/GaSb quantum wells separated by a $20$\,nm AlSb middle barrier. By realizing independent ohmic contacts for electrons in InAs and holes in the GaSb layer, we found an out-of-plane oscillatory response in capacitance representing the density of states of this system. We were able to tune the charge carrier densities by applying a DC bias voltage, identifying the formation of beating signatures for forward bias. The coexistence of two distinguishable two dimensional charge carrier systems of unequal densities was verified. The corresponding Landau phase diagram presents distinct features originating from the two observed densities. A giant Rashba coefficient ranging from $430-612$\,meV$\textÅ$ and large \textit{g}-factor value underlines the influence of spin orbit interaction.

Based on the Caldirola-Canai approach, we endeavor to propose a dissipative scalar field theory in Minkowski space-time. We present its free particle solutions for complex $ω^μ$ components, and we find three profiles of dispersion relations, two of them support gapped momentum states. We present its free particle solutions for complex $ω^μ$ components, and we find three profiles of dispersion relations, two of them support gapped momentum states. We also present an alternative view of this model, where dissipation acts as a geometric effect, and an effective negative scalar curvature space-time emerges. Finally, we illustrate how the present model could be adapted to describe shear waves in Frenkel liquids.

Abstract:
In this paper we find analytical solutions for the scalar and gauge fields in the Freedman-Robertson-Walker multiply warped braneworld scenario. With this we find the precise mass spectra for these fields. We compare these spectra with that previously found in the literature for the static case.

We construct the one-dimensional analogous of von-Neumann Wigner potential to the relativistic Klein-Gordon operator, in which is defined taking asymptotic mathematical rules in order to obtain existence conditions of eigenvalues embedded in the continuous spectrum. Using our constructed potential, we provide an explicit and analytical example of the Klein-Gordon operator with positive eigenvalues embedded in the so called relativistic "continuum region". Even so in this not standard example, we present the region of the "continuum" where those eigenvalues cannot occur. Besides, the absence of eigenvalues in the continuous spectrum for Klein-Gordon operators is proven to a broad general potential classes, including the minimally coupled electric Coulomb potential. Considering known techniques available in literature for Schrodinger operators, we demonstrate an expression for Klein-Gordon operator written in Schrodinger's form, whereby is determined the mathematical spectrum region of absence of eigenvalues.

We investigate the dependence of the mass spectrum on Hubble constant. Lighter massive modes of the fields are found, whereby it is possible to infer that scalar and bosonic matter can directly influence in universe expansion.

In this paper, we consider a spherically curved symmetric spacetime to exact solving the orbit equation of a massive particle by using Jacobi's elliptic functions. Generally, the solution of the orbit equation provides the relativistic effects on the massive particle, absents in Newtonian mechanics. Besides, we investigate the additional physical information introduced by the exact solution to the orbit equation that is not visible in the approximate solutions traditionally presented in literature. Here, we exactly solve the problem by the use an analytical methodology step by step in order to provide detailed solutions as well as demonstrate with mathematical rigour the geodesic solution in terms of Jacobi's elliptic functions. We find oscillatory movements of the orbit of the massive particle at the expected regimes without to consider any heuristic argument. Bound regions to the solution of the equation of motion is presented, finding the aspect of the geodesic when the massive particle is trapped in the gravitational field of the source.

Spin drag measurements were performed in a two-dimensional electron system set close to the crossed spin helix regime and coupled by strong intersubband scattering. In a sample with uncommon combination of long spin lifetime and high charge mobility, the drift transport allows us to determine the spin-orbit field and the spin mobility anisotropies. We used a random walk model to describe the system dynamics and found excellent agreement for the Rashba and Dresselhaus couplings. The proposed two-subband system displays a large tuning lever arm for the Rashba constant with gate voltage, which provides a new path towards a spin transistor. Furthermore, the data shows large spin mobility controlled by the spin-orbit constants setting the field along the direction perpendicular to the drift velocity. This work directly reveals the resistance experienced in the transport of a spin-polarized packet as a function of the strength of anisotropic spin-orbit fields.

Both approaches show that the crystal is terminated by an intact quintuple layer. Specifically, an alternative termination by a bismuth bilayer is ruled out. Surface relaxations obtained by both techniques are in good agreement with each other and found to be small. This includes the relaxation of the van der Waals gap between the first two quintuple layers.

The amount of mutual information contained in time series of two elements gives a measure of how well their activities are coordinated. In a large, complex network of interacting elements, such as a genetic regulatory network within a cell, the average of the mutual information over all pairs <I> is a global measure of how well the system can coordinate its internal dynamics. We study this average pairwise mutual information in random Boolean networks (RBNs) as a function of the distribution of Boolean rules implemented at each element, assuming that the links in the network are randomly placed. Efficient numerical methods for calculating <I> show that as the number of network nodes N approaches infinity, the quantity N<I> exhibits a discontinuity at parameter values corresponding to critical RBNs. For finite systems it peaks near the critical value, but slightly in the disordered regime for typical parameter variations. The source of high values of N<I> is the indirect correlations between pairs of elements from different long chains with a common starting point. The contribution from pairs that are directly linked approaches zero for critical networks and peaks deep in the disordered regime.
