The product of the decay constant and Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element $|V_{cs}|$ is determined to be $f_{D_s^+}|V_{cs}|=(246.5\pm5.9_{\rm stat}\pm3.6_{\rm syst}\pm0.5_{\rm input})_{μν}~\mathrm{MeV}$ and $f_{D_s^+}|V_{cs}|=(252.7\pm3.6_{\rm stat}\pm4.5_{\rm syst}\pm0.6_{\rm input}))_{τν}~\mathrm{MeV}$, respectively. Taking the value of $|V_{cs}|$ from a global fit in the Standard Model, we obtain ${f_{D^+_s}}=(252.8\pm6.0_{\rm stat}\pm3.7_{\rm syst}\pm0.6_{\rm input})_{μν}$ MeV and ${f_{D^+_s}}=(259.2\pm3.6_{\rm stat}\pm4.5_{\rm syst}\pm0.6_{\rm input})_{τν}$ MeV, respectively. Conversely, taking the value for $f_{D_s^+}$ from the latest lattice quantum chromodynamics calculation, we obtain $|V_{cs}| =(0.986\pm0.023_{\rm stat}\pm0.014_{\rm syst}\pm0.003_{\rm input})_{μν}$ and $|V_{cs}| = (1.011\pm0.014_{\rm stat}\pm0.018_{\rm syst}\pm0.003_{\rm input})_{τν}$, respectively.

We carry out a comprehensive investigation on the radiative decays of $P$-wave bottom baryons using the light-cone sum rule method. We analyze their electromagnetic transitions into ground-state bottom baryons together with a photon. Together with their mass spectra and strong decays investigated in Refs. \cite{Yang:2020zrh,Tan:2023opd}, a rather complete QCD sum rule study has been done to understand the $P$-wave singly bottom baryons within the framework of heavy quark effective theory. As summarized in Tables~\ref{tab:candidate}/\ref{tab:candidate6f}, some $P$-wave bottom baryons have limited strong decay widths so that their radiative decay widths become non-negligible. We propose to study these excited bottom baryons and their radiative decays in the future Belle-II, BESIII, and LHCb experiments.

The inclusive production of pseudoscalar heavy quarkoniua ($η_c,~η_b$ and $B_c$) via photon-photon fusion in heavy ion ultraperipheral collision (UPC) are calculated to QCD next-to-leading order in the framework of non-relativistic QCD (NRQCD). The total cross section of $η_c$ produced in Pb-Pb UPC is 194 $\mathrm{nb}^{-1}$ and 1052 $\mathrm{nb}^{-1}$ at nucleon-nucleon c.m. energies $\sqrt{S_{\mathrm{NN}}}=$ 5.52 TeV and 39.4 TeV, respectively. The cross sections for $η_b$ and $B_c$ mesons are more than two to three orders of magnitude smaller. We make a detailed phenomenological analysis on the $η_c$ production; the uncertainties caused by the renormalization scale and the charm quark mass, the cross sections in other ultraperipheral nucleon-nucleon colliding systems, and the transverse momentum distribution are discussed. At the coming HL-LHC and future FCC, the heavy ion UPC opens another door of the study on the production of heavy quarkonium.

In this work we try to search for signals generated by ultra-heavy dark matter at the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO) data. We look for possible gamma-ray by dark matter annihilation or decay from 16 dwarf spheroidal galaxies in the field of view of LHAASO. Dwarf spheroidal galaxies are among the most promising targets for indirect detection of dark matter which have low fluxes of astrophysical $γ$-ray background while large amount of dark matter. By analyzing more than 700 days observational data at LHAASO, no significant dark matter signal from 1 TeV to 1 EeV is detected. Accordingly we derive the most stringent constraints on the ultra-heavy dark matter annihilation cross-section up to EeV. The constraints on the lifetime of dark matter in decay mode are also derived.

Electron-neutrino charged-current interactions with xenon nuclei were modeled in the nEXO neutrinoless double-beta decay detector (~5-tonne, 90% ${}^{136}$Xe, 10% ${}^{134}$Xe) to evaluate its sensitivity to supernova neutrinos. Predictions for event rates and detectable signatures were modeled using the MARLEY event generator. We find good agreement between MARLEY's predictions and existing theoretical calculations of the inclusive cross sections at supernova neutrino energies. The interactions modeled by MARLEY were simulated within the nEXO simulation framework and were run through an example reconstruction algorithm to determine the detector's efficiency for reconstructing these events. The simulated data, incorporating the detector response, were used to study the ability of nEXO to reconstruct the incident electron-neutrino spectrum and these results were extended to a larger xenon detector of the same isotope enrichment. We estimate that nEXO will be able to observe electron-neutrino interactions with xenon from supernovae as far as 5 to 8 kpc from earth, while the ability to reconstruct incident electron-neutrino spectrum parameters from observed interactions in nEXO is limited to closer supernovae.

In this work, we investigate the form factors of the transitions $B_{(s)} \to D_{0}^{\ast}(2300),D_{s0}^{\ast}(2317),$ $ D_{s1}(2460) $ and $ D_{s1}(2536)$ in the covariant light-front quark model (CLFQM), where these final states are considered as P-wave excited charmed mesons. In order to obtain the form factors for the physical transition processes, we need to extend these form factors from the space-like region to the time-like region. The $q^{2}$-dependence for each transition form factor is also plotted. Then, combined with those form factors, the branching ratios of the two-body nonleptonic decays $B_{(s)}\to D^*_{(s)0}(2300,2317)M, D_{s1}(2460,2536)M$ with $M$ being a light pseudoscalar (vector) meson or a charmed meson are calculated by considering the QCD radiative corrections to the hadronic matrix elements with the QCD factorization approach. Most of our predictions are comparable to the results given by other theoretical approaches and the present available data.

We study the double heavy baryon $Ξ_{QQ'}$ and tetraquark $T_{QQ}$ production through photon-photon and photon-gluon fusion via ultraperipheral collisions at the LHC and FCC within the framework of nonrelativistic QCD factorization formalism. Various ion-ion collisions are taken into account, two cc(bb)-diquark configurations ($[cc(bb),{^3S_1}\mbox{-}\bar{\bm{3}}]$ and $[cc(bb),{^1S_0}\mbox{-}\bm{6}]$) and four bc-diquark configurations ($[bc,{^3S_1}\mbox{-}\bar{\bm{3}}]$, $[bc,{^3S_1}\mbox{-}\bm{6}]$, $[bc,{^1S_0}\mbox{-}\bar{\bm{3}}]$ and $[bc,{^1S_0}\mbox{-}\bm{6}]$) are considered in the calculation. Numerical results indicate that the $[cc,{^3S_1}\mbox{-}\bar{\bm{3}}]$ diquark provides dominant contribution for $Ξ_{cc}$ ($T_{cc}$) production, and a considerable number of $Ξ_{cc}$ ($T_{cc}$) can be produced. Due to the event topologies for ultraperipheral collision are very clear, the background from various QCD interactions can be suppressed, hence the experimental investigation for $Ξ_{cc}$ and $T_{cc}$ are feasible. The productions for $Ξ_{bc/bb}$ are also discussed, leaving only slightly possibility for $Ξ_{bc}$ through photon-gluon fusion with ultraperipheral collisions at the FCC.

We report a first study of the semileptonic decay $D^0\rightarrow K^-π^0μ^{+}ν_μ$ by analyzing an $e^+e^-$ annihilation data sample of $7.9~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector. The absolute branching fraction of $D^0\to K^-π^0μ^{+}ν_μ$ is measured for the first time to be $(0.729 \pm 0.014_{\rm stat} \pm 0.011_{\rm syst})\%$. Based on an amplitude analysis, the $S\text{-}{\rm wave}$ contribution is determined to be $(5.76 \pm 0.35_{\rm stat} \pm 0.29_{\rm syst})\%$ of the total decay rate in addition to the dominated $K^{*}(892)^-$ component. The branching fraction of $D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ$ is given to be $(2.062 \pm 0.039_{\rm stat} \pm 0.032_{\rm syst})\%$, which improves the precision of the world average by a factor of 5. Combining with the world average of ${\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-e^+ν_e)$, the ratio of the branching fractions obtained is $\frac{{\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ)}{{\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-e^+ν_e)} = 0.96\pm0.08$, in agreement with lepton flavor universality. Furthermore, assuming single-pole dominance parameterization, the most precise hadronic form factor ratios for $D^0\to K^{*}(892)^{-} μ^+ν_μ$ are extracted to be $r_{V}=V(0)/A_1(0)=1.37 \pm 0.09_{\rm stat} \pm 0.03_{\rm syst}$ and $r_{2}=A_2(0)/A_1(0)=0.76 \pm 0.06_{\rm stat} \pm 0.02_{\rm syst}$.

Fuzzy dark matter (FDM), an attractive dark matter candidate comprising ultralight bosons (axions) with a particle mass $m_a\sim10^{-22}$ eV, is motivated by the small-scale challenges of cold dark matter and features a kpc-size de Broglie wavelength. Quantum wave interference inside an FDM halo gives rise to stochastically fluctuating density granulation; the resulting gravitational perturbations could drive significant disc thickening, providing a natural explanation for galactic thick discs. Here we present the first self-consistent simulations of FDM haloes and stellar discs, exploring $m_a=0.2-1.2\times10^{-22}$ eV and halo masses $M_\text{h} = 0.7-2.8\times10^{11}$ M$_\odot$. Disc thickening is observed in all simulated systems. The disc heating rates are approximately constant in time and increase substantially with decreasing $m_a$, reaching $dh/dt \simeq 0.04$ ($0.4$) kpc Gyr$^{-1}$ and $dσ_z^2/dt \simeq4$ ($150$) km$^2$s$^{-2}$Gyr$^{-1}$ for $m_a=1.2$ ($0.2$) $\times10^{-22}$ eV and $M_\text{h} =7\times10^{10} \text{M}_\odot$, where $h$ is the disc scale height and $σ_z$ is the vertical velocity dispersion. These simulated heating rates agree within a factor of two with the theoretical estimates of Chiang et al., confirming that the rough estimate of Church et al. overpredicts the granulation-driven disc heating rate by two orders of magnitude. However, the simulation-inferred heating rates scale less steeply than the theoretically predicted relation $dσ^2_z/dt \propto m_a^{-3}$. Finally, we examine the applicability of the Fokker-Planck approximation in FDM granulation modelling and the robustness of the $m_a$ exclusion bound derived from the Galactic disc kinematics.

The methods of QCD sum rules and light-cone sum rules within the framework of heavy quark effective theory have been widely applied to study the singly heavy baryons, and especially, we have applied these methods to predict not only the mass and width of the $Ξ_b(6087)^0$ recently discovered by LHCb, but also its observation channel and its mass difference from the $Ξ_b(6100)^-$. We apply the same approach to perform a complete study on the $P$-wave bottom baryons of the $SU(3)$ flavor $\mathbf{\bar 3}_F$ and investigate their fine structure. Besides the $Λ_b(5912)^0$, $Λ_b(5920)^0$, $Ξ_b(6087)^0$, and $Ξ_b(6100)^-$, our results suggest the existence of the other two $Λ_b$ and two $Ξ_b$ baryons, whose widths are limited. They are the $Λ_b(J^P = 3/2^-)$ with the mass and width about $(5.93^{+0.13}_{-0.13}~{\rm GeV},\,0.0^{+12.0}_{-~0.0}~{\rm MeV})$, the $Λ_b(5/2^-)$ with $(5.94^{+0.13}_{-0.13}~{\rm GeV},\,\approx0~{\rm MeV})$, the $Ξ_b(3/2^-)$ with $(6.10^{+0.15}_{-0.10}~{\rm GeV},\,1.4{^{+11.6}_{-~1.4}}~{\rm MeV})$, and the $Ξ_b(5/2^-)$ with $(6.11^{+0.15}_{-0.10}~{\rm GeV},\,1.0{^{+7.4}_{-1.0}}~{\rm MeV})$. Their mass splittings are calculated to be $M_{Λ_b(5/2^-)} - M_{Λ_b(3/2^-)} = 17\pm7~{\rm MeV}$ and $M_{Ξ_b(5/2^-)} - M_{Ξ_b(3/2^-)} = 14\pm7~{\rm MeV}$. All these baryons are explained as the $P$-wave bottom baryons of the $ρ$-mode, where the orbital excitation is between the two light quarks. However, the existence of this mode is still controversial, so their experimental searches can verify both our approach and the existence of the $ρ$-mode, which can significantly improve our understanding on the internal structure of hadrons.

In addition to the strong and electromagnetic decay modes, the $ψ(1S,2S)$ and $η_{c}(1S,2S)$ can also decay via the weak interaction. Such weak decays can be detected by the high-luminosity heavy-flavor experiments. At present, some of the semileptonic and nonleptonic $J/Ψ$ weak decays have been measured at BESIII. Researching for these charmonium weak decays to $D_{(s)}$ meson can provide a platform to check of the standard model (SM) and probe new physics (NP). So we investigate the semileptonic and nonleptonic weak decays of $ψ(1S,2S)$ and $η_{c}(1S,2S)$ to $D_{(s)}$ within the covariant light-front quark model (CLFQM). With form factors of the transitions $ψ(1S,2S)\to D_{(s)}$ and $η_{c}(1S,2S)\to D_{(s)}$ calculated under the CLFQM, we predict and discuss some physical observables, such as the branching ratios, the longitudinal polarizations $f_{L}$ and the forward-backward asymmetries $A_{FB}$. One can find that the Cabibbo-favored semi-leptonic decay channels $ψ(1S,2S)\to D_{s}^{-}\ell^{+}ν_{\ell}$ with $\ell=e,μ$ and the nonleptonic decay modes $ψ(1S,2S)\to D_{s}^{-}ρ^{+}$ have relatively large branching ratios of the order $\mathcal{O}(10^{-9})$, which are most likely to be accessible at the future high-luminosity experiments.

Abstract:
We conduct an investigation on the $1P$- and $2P$-wave charmed baryons using the methods of QCD sum rules and light-cone sum rules within the framework of heavy quark effective theory. We conduct an investigation on the $1P$- and $2P$-wave charmed baryons using the methods of QCD sum rules and light-cone sum rules within the framework of heavy quark effective theory. Our results suggest that the $Λ_c(2910)^+$, $Λ_c(2940)^+$, and $Ξ_c(3123)^+$ can be well interpreted as the $2P$-wave charmed baryons of $J^P=1/2^-$ and $3/2^-$, belonging to the $SU(3)$ flavor $\mathbf{\bar 3}_F$ representation. Moreover, the $Ξ_c(3123)^+$ possesses a partner state characterized by $J^P=1/2^-$, denoted as $Ξ_c(1/2^-,2P)$. Our analysis predicts its mass and width to be $m_{Ξ_c(1/2^-,2P)} - m_{Ξ_c(3123)^+} = -18\pm{7}$MeV and $Γ_{Ξ_c(2P,1/2^-)}=31^{+170}_{-27}$MeV, with $m_{Ξ_c(3123)^+} = 3122.9\pm{1.3}$MeV. We propose to search for it in the $Ξ_c(1/2^-,2P)\to Σ_c K$ decay channel.

We present the discovery and timing results of four pulsars discovered in a pilot survey at intermediate Galactic latitudes with the Five-hundred Aperture Spherical Telescope (FAST). Among these pulsars, two belong to the category of millisecond pulsars (MSPs) with spin periods of less than 20 ms. The other two fall under the classification of "mildly recycled" pulsars, with massive white dwarfs as companions. Remarkably, this small survey, covering an area of 4.7 $deg^2$ , led to the discovery of four recycled pulsars. Such success underscores the immense potential of future surveys at intermediate Galactic latitudes. In order to assess the potential yield of MSPs, we conducted population simulations and found that both FAST and Parkes new phased array feed surveys, focusing on intermediate Galactic latitudes, have the capacity to uncover several hundred new MSPs.

We study the feasibility to observe sterile neutrino at the high energy colliders with direct production channels through $e^+e^-$, $ep$ collision, and indirect production channels through decays of heavy meson, baryon and Higgs. For $e^+e^-$ collision, the $e^+e^-\to\barν_e N$ channel is explored with new signal selection method which tends to be efficient for light $m_N$, the constraints of active-sterile mixing $|U_{eN}|^2$ at the SuperKEKB, CEPC and ILC are expected to reach better lower limits than current experiments. For $ep$ collision, We investigate the heavy sterile neutrino production through a new channel via proton bremsstrahlung, i.e., $e^-γ\to NW^-$, hundreds of GeV heavy sterile neutrino can be probe and new limit on mixing is given. For heavy hadrons decay, the lepton-number-violating decays of $Λ_c,\ Ξ_{c},\ Ξ_{cc}$ and $Λ_b$ are explored via an intermediate on-shell Majorana neutrino in GeV scale. The branching fractions and the constraints for $|U_{\ell N}|^2$ are given, and hence may put new limits on this mass region. The ${\rm Higgs} \to Wμμπ$ channel is also considered to test massive neutrino within Higgs sector.

We generalize the instanton-induced inflation and dynamical compactification to general Einstein manifolds with positive curvature and also to the FLRW metric with spatial curvature. We explicitly construct Yang-Mills instantons on all Einstein manifolds under consideration and find that the homogeneous and isotropic universe is allowed only if the internal space is homogeneous. We then consider the FLRW metric with spatial curvature as a solution of the eight-dimensional Einstein-Yang-Mills theory. We find that open universe $(k=-1)$ admits bouncing solutions unlike the other cases $(k=0, +1)$.

The branching-fraction ratio ${\mathcal B}(J/ψ\to e^+ e^- η(1405))$/${\mathcal B}(J/ψ\to γη(1405))$ is determined to be $(1.35\pm0.19(\rm{stat.})\pm0.06(\rm{syst.}))\times10^{-2}$. Furthermore, an $e^+e^-$ invariant-mass dependent transition form factor of $J/ψ\to e^+ e^-η(1405)$ is presented for the first time. The obtained result provides input for different theoretical models, and is valuable for the improved understanding the intrinsic structure of the $η(1405)$ meson.

We discuss JUNO sensitivity to the annihilation of MeV dark matter in the galactic halo via detecting inverse beta decay reactions of electron anti-neutrinos resulting from the annihilation. We study possible backgrounds to the signature, including the reactor neutrinos, diffuse supernova neutrino background, charged- and neutral-current interactions of atmospheric neutrinos, backgrounds from muon-induced fast neutrons and cosmogenic isotopes. A fiducial volume cut, as well as the pulse shape discrimination and the muon veto are applied to suppress the above backgrounds. It is shown that JUNO sensitivity to the thermally averaged dark matter annihilation rate in 10 years of exposure would be significantly better than the present-day best limit set by Super-Kamiokande and would be comparable to that expected by Hyper-Kamiokande.

This catalog represents the main result from the most sensitive large coverage gamma-ray survey of the sky above 1 TeV, covering declination from $-$20$^{\circ}$ to 80$^{\circ}$. In total, the catalog contains 90 sources with an extended size smaller than $2^\circ$ and a significance of detection at $> 5σ$. Based on our source association criteria, 32 new TeV sources are proposed in this study. Among the 90 sources, 43 sources are detected with ultra-high energy ($E > 100$ TeV) emission at $> 4σ$ significance level. We provide the position, extension, and spectral characteristics of all the sources in this catalog.

No significant $H$-dibaryon signal is observed in the $Ξ^-p$ final state. This is the first study of hyperon-nucleon interactions in electron-positron collisions and opens up a new direction for such research.

We formulate a version of the low-scale Majoron model equipped with an inverse seesaw mechanism featuring lepton-number preserving dimension-6 operators in the scalar potential. Contrary to its dimension-4 counterpart, we find that the model can simultaneously provide light and ultralight Majorons, neutrino masses and their mixing, while featuring strong first-order cosmological phase transitions associated to the spontaneous breaking of the lepton number and the electroweak symmetries in the early Universe. We show by a detailed numerical analysis that under certain conditions on the parameter space accounted for in collider physics, the model can be probed via the primordial gravitational wave spectrum potentially observable at LISA and other planned facilities.

Moreover, the excellent energy resolution of JUNO permits to suppress the sizable background caused by other delayed signals. Based on these advantages, the detection efficiency for the proton decay via $p\to \barνK^+$ is 36.9% with a background level of 0.2 events after 10 years of data taking. The estimated sensitivity based on 200 kton-years exposure is $9.6 \times 10^{33}$ years, competitive with the current best limits on the proton lifetime in this channel.

The physics potential of detecting $^8$B solar neutrinos will be exploited at the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO), in a model independent manner by using three distinct channels of the charged-current (CC), neutral-current (NC) and elastic scattering (ES) interactions. Due to the largest-ever mass of $^{13}$C nuclei in the liquid-scintillator detectors and the {expected} low background level, $^8$B solar neutrinos would be observable in the CC and NC interactions on $^{13}$C for the first time. By virtue of optimized event selections and muon veto strategies, backgrounds from the accidental coincidence, muon-induced isotopes, and external backgrounds can be greatly suppressed. Excellent signal-to-background ratios can be achieved in the CC, NC and ES channels to guarantee the $^8$B solar neutrino observation. From the sensitivity studies performed in this work, we show that JUNO, with ten years of data, can reach the {1$σ$} precision levels of 5%, 8% and 20% for the $^8$B neutrino flux, $\sin^2θ_{12}$, and $Δm^2_{21}$, respectively. It would be unique and helpful to probe the details of both solar physics and neutrino physics. In addition, when combined with SNO, the world-best precision of 3% is expected for the $^8$B neutrino flux measurement.

We present a comparative analysis of boson-jet and jet-jet correlations in the back to-back region, and a study of the theoretical systematic uncertainties associated with the matching scale in the cases of TMD and collinear parton showers.

Making use of the world-average branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\toΛπ^+π^0)$, their branching fractions are determined to be \begin{eqnarray*} \begin{aligned} \mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\toΛρ(770)^+)=&(4.06\pm0.30\pm0.35\pm0.23)\times10^{-2},\\ \mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\toΣ(1385)^+π^0)=&(5.86\pm0.49\pm0.52\pm0.35)\times10^{-3},\\ \mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\toΣ(1385)^0π^+)=&(6.47\pm0.59\pm0.66\pm0.38)\times10^{-3},\\ \end{aligned} \end{eqnarray*} where the first uncertainties are statistical, the second are systematic, and the third are from the uncertainties of the branching fractions $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\toΛπ^+π^0)$ and $\mathcal{B}(Σ(1385)\toΛπ)$. In addition, %according to amplitudes determined from the partial wave analysis, the decay asymmetry parameters are measured to be $α_{Λρ(770)^+}=-0.763\pm0.053\pm0.045$, $α_{Σ(1385)^{+}π^0}=-0.917\pm0.069\pm0.056$, and $α_{Σ(1385)^{0}π^+}=-0.789\pm0.098\pm0.056$.

More than a century after the performance of the oil drop experiment, the possible existence of fractionally charged particles FCP still remains unsettled. The search for FCPs is crucial for some extensions of the Standard Model in particle physics. Most of the previously conducted searches for FCPs in cosmic rays were based on experiments underground or at high altitudes. However, there have been few searches for FCPs in cosmic rays carried out in orbit other than AMS-01 flown by a space shuttle and BESS by a balloon at the top of the atmosphere. In this study, we conduct an FCP search in space based on on-orbit data obtained using the DArk Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE) satellite over a period of five years. Unlike underground experiments, which require an FCP energy of the order of hundreds of GeV, our FCP search starts at only a few GeV. An upper limit of $6.2\times 10^{-10}~~\mathrm{cm^{-2}sr^{-1} s^{-1}}$ is obtained for the flux. Our results demonstrate that DAMPE exhibits higher sensitivity than experiments of similar types by three orders of magnitude that more stringently restricts the conditions for the existence of FCP in primary cosmic rays.

In the SU(3) nonet, there exists a mixing between the scalars f_{0}(980) and f_{0}(500), so we have considered the mixing effect in our calculations to obtain more reliable data, and the mixing angle θis set at [15^{\circ}, 82^{\circ}] and [105^{\circ}, 171^{\circ}]. Based on the isospin symmetry, we also estimate the branching ratios of the B^{0}_{s} \rightarrow f_{0}(980)[ \rightarrow π^{0}π^{0}]f_{0}(980) and B^{0}_{s} \rightarrow f_{0}(500)[ \rightarrow π^{0}π^{0}]f_{0}(500) decays. The branching ratios of the B^{0}_{s}\rightarrow a_{0}(980)[ \rightarrow K\overline{K}, πη]a_{0}(980) decays are much small, while the results of the B^{0}_{s} \rightarrow f_{0}(980)[ \rightarrow ππ, K\overline{K}]f_{0}(980) and B^{0}_{s} \rightarrow f_{0}(500)[ \rightarrow ππ]f_{0}(500) decays are at the order of 10^{-6}\sim10^{-5}, which can be tested in the LHCb and Belle II experiments, hopefully.

Our results are in good agreement with the Belle measurements, which supports the molecular nature of the $Λ(1670)$ and $a_0(980)$. In addition, the $ηπ^+$ invariant mass distributions are also computed and a cusp structure of $a_0(980)$ is cleary shown around the $K\bar{K}$ mass threshold.

We present the detection potential for the diffuse supernova neutrino background (DSNB) at the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO), using the inverse-beta-decay (IBD) detection channel on free protons. We employ the latest information on the DSNB flux predictions, and investigate in detail the background and its reduction for the DSNB search at JUNO. The atmospheric neutrino induced neutral current (NC) background turns out to be the most critical background, whose uncertainty is carefully evaluated from both the spread of model predictions and an envisaged \textit{in situ} measurement. We also make a careful study on the background suppression with the pulse shape discrimination (PSD) and triple coincidence (TC) cuts. With latest DSNB signal predictions, more realistic background evaluation and PSD efficiency optimization, and additional TC cut, JUNO can reach the significance of 3$σ$ for 3 years of data taking, and achieve better than 5$σ$ after 10 years for a reference DSNB model. In the pessimistic scenario of non-observation, JUNO would strongly improve the limits and exclude a significant region of the model parameter space.

We suggest an appealing strategy to probe a large class of scenarios beyond the Standard Model simultaneously explaining the recent CDF II measurement of the $W$ boson mass and predicting first-order phase transitions (FOPT) testable in future gravitational-wave (GW) experiments. Our analysis deploys measurements from the GW channels and high energy particle colliders. We discuss this methodology focusing on the specific example provided by an extension of the Standard Model of particle physics that incorporates an additional scalar $\mathrm{SU}(2)_{\rm L}$ triplet coupled to the Higgs boson. We show that within this scenario a strong electroweak FOPT is naturally realised consistently with the measured $W$ boson mass-shift. Potentially observable GW signatures imply the triplet mass scale to be TeV-ish, consistently with the value preferred by the $W$ mass anomaly. This model can be tested in future space-based interferometers such as LISA, DECIGO, BBO, TianQin, TAIJI projects and in future colliders such as FCC, ILC, CEPC.

Azimuthal correlations in Z+jet production at large transverse momenta are computed by matching Parton - Branching (PB) TMD parton distributions and showers with NLO calculations via MCatNLO. The predictions are compared with those for dijet production in the same kinematic range. The azimuthal correlations $Δφ$ between the Z boson and the leading jet are steeper compared to those in dijet production at transverse momenta ${\cal O}(100)$ GeV, while they become similar for very high transverse momenta ${\cal O}(1000)$ GeV. The different patterns of Z+jet and dijet azimuthal correlations can be used to search for potential {\it factorization - breaking} effects in the back-to-back region, which depend on the different color and spin structure of the final states and their interferences with the initial states. In order to investigate these effects experimentally, we propose to measure the ratio of the distributions in $Δφ$ for Z+jet - and multijet production at low and at high transverse momenta, and compare the results to predictions obtained assuming factorization. We examine the role of theoretical uncertainties by performing variations of the factorization scale, renormalization scale and matching scale. In particular, we present a comparative study of matching scale uncertainties in the cases of PB-TMD and collinear parton showers.

A chiral-symmetric technicolor model successfully reconciles the tension between electroweak precision tests and traditional technicolor models. Focusing on its simplest realization preserving the conventional Higgs mechanism, we study its primordial gravitational wave signatures originating from first order phase transitions in the early Universe. We found that abundant phase transition patterns arise from a physically viable parameter space. Besides, we have also found gravitational wave signals possibly visible by future experiments, such as LISA, BBO and u-DECIGO. Our results stress the importance of gravitational wave detectors in exploring new physics complementary to ground colliders in the multi-messenger astronomy era.

The last decade has brought about a profound transformation in multimessenger science. Ten years ago, facilities had been built or were under construction that would eventually discover the nature of objects in our universe could be detected through multiple messengers. Nonetheless, multimessenger science was hardly more than a dream. The rewards for our foresight were finally realized through IceCube's discovery of the diffuse astrophysical neutrino flux, the first observation of gravitational waves by LIGO, and the first joint detections in gravitational waves and photons and in neutrinos and photons. Today we live in the dawn of the multimessenger era. The successes of the multimessenger campaigns of the last decade have pushed multimessenger science to the forefront of priority science areas in both the particle physics and the astrophysics communities. Multimessenger science provides new methods of testing fundamental theories about the nature of matter and energy, particularly in conditions that are not reproducible on Earth. This white paper will present the science and facilities that will provide opportunities for the particle physics community renew its commitment and maintain its leadership in multimessenger science.

Exploring dark matter via observations of extreme astrophysical environments -- defined here as heavy compact objects such as white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes, as well as supernovae and compact object merger events -- has been a major field of growth since the last Snowmass process. Theoretical work has highlighted the utility of current and near-future observatories to constrain novel dark matter parameter space across the full mass range. This includes gravitational wave instruments and observatories spanning the electromagnetic spectrum, from radio to gamma-rays. While recent searches already provide leading sensitivity to various dark matter models, this work also highlights the need for theoretical astrophysics research to better constrain the properties of these extreme astrophysical systems. The unique potential of these search signatures to probe dark matter adds motivation to proposed next-generation astronomical and gravitational wave instruments.

We study damping signatures at the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO), a medium-baseline reactor neutrino oscillation experiment. These damping signatures are motivated by various new physics models, including quantum decoherence, $ν_3$ decay, neutrino absorption, and wave packet decoherence. The phenomenological effects of these models can be characterized by exponential damping factors at the probability level. We assess how well JUNO can constrain these damping parameters and how to disentangle these different damping signatures at JUNO. Compared to current experimental limits, JUNO can significantly improve the limits on $τ_3/m_3$ in the $ν_3$ decay model, the width of the neutrino wave packet $σ_x$, and the intrinsic relative dispersion of neutrino momentum $σ_{\rm rel}$.

The decay $J/ψ\to e^+ e^- X(1835)$ is observed with a significance of $15σ$, and the transition form factor of $J/ψ\to e^+e^-X(1835)$ is presented for the first time. The intermediate states $X(2120)$ and $X(2370)$ are also observed in the $π^+ π^- η'$ invariant mass spectrum with significances of $5.3σ$ and $7.3σ$. The corresponding product branching fractions for $J/ψ\to e^+e^-X$, $X\toπ^+π^-η'$ $(X=X(1835), X(2120)$ and $X(2370))$, are reported.

The azimuthal correlation, $Δφ_{12}$, of high transverse momentum jets in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV is studied by applying PB-TMD distributions to NLO calculations via MCatNLO together with the PB-TMD parton shower. The azimuthal correlation, $Δφ_{12}$, of high transverse momentum jets in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV is studied by applying PB-TMD distributions to NLO calculations via MCatNLO together with the PB-TMD parton shower. A very good description of the cross section as a function of $Δφ_{12}$ is observed. In the back-to-back region of $Δφ_{12} \to π$, a very good agreement is observed with the PB-TMD Set 2 distributions while significant deviations are obtained with the PB-TMD Set 1 distributions. Set 1 uses the evolution scale while Set 2 uses transverse momentum as an argument in $α_s$, and the above observation therefore confirms the importance of an appropriate soft-gluon coupling in angular ordered parton evolution. The total uncertainties of the predictions are dominated by the scale uncertainties of the matrix element, while the uncertainties coming from the PB-TMDs and the corresponding PB-TMD shower are very small. The $Δφ_{12}$ measurements are also compared with predictions using MCatNLO together PYTHIA8, illustrating the importance of details of the parton shower evolution.

Using a data sample of $4.481\times 10^8 ψ^\prime$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we report the first observation of the four-lepton-decays $J/ψ\to e^+e^-e^+e^-$ and $J/ψ\to e^+e^-μ^+μ^-$ utilizing the process $ψ^\prime\to π^+π^- J/ψ$. The branching fractions are determined to be $[5.48\pm0.31~(\rm stat)\pm0.45~(\rm syst)]\times 10^{-5}$ and $[3.53~\pm0.22~(\rm stat)\pm0.13~(\rm syst)]\times 10^{-5}$, respectively. The results are consistent with theoretical predictions. No significant signal is observed for $J/ψ\to μ^+μ^-μ^+μ^-$, and an upper limit on the branching fraction is set at $1.6\times 10^{-6}$ at the 90$\%$ confidence level. A CP asymmetry observable is constructed for the first two channels, which is measured to be $(-0.012\pm0.054\pm0.010)$ and $(0.062\pm0.059\pm0.006)$, respectively. No evidence for CP violation is observed in this process.

The predictions show a remarkable agreement with DY measurement from E605 experiment, consistent with previous results we obtained for R209, PHENIX, CMS and ATLAS experiments. We also present predictions for Z+jet measurements showing the importance of TMD parton shower contributions to the jet multiplicity. We show that PB-TMD parton density and the corresponding PB-TMD parton shower can be combined with leading-order (LO) matrix element using the newly developed TMD merging algorithm to obtain a very good description of measurements over a wide kinematic range.

An Einstein manifold in four dimensions has some configuration of $SU(2)_+$ Yang-Mills instantons and $SU(2)_-$ anti-instantons associated with it. This fact is based on the fundamental theorems that the four-dimensional Lorentz group $Spin(4)$ is a direct product of two groups $SU(2)_\pm$ and the vector space of two-forms decomposes into the space of self-dual and anti-self-dual two-forms. It explains why the four-dimensional spacetime is special for the stability of Einstein manifolds. We now consider whether such a stability of four-dimensional Einstein manifolds can be lifted to a five-dimensional Einstein manifold. The higher-dimensional embedding of four-manifolds from the viewpoint of gauge theory is similar to the grand unification of Standard Model since the group $SO(4) \cong Spin(4)/\mathbb{Z}_2 = SU(2)_+ \otimes SU(2)_-/\mathbb{Z}_2$ must be embedded into the simple group $SO(5) = Sp(2)/\mathbb{Z}_2$. Our group-theoretic approach reveals the anatomy of Riemannian manifolds quite similar to the quark model of hadrons in which two independent Yang-Mills instantons represent a substructure of Einstein manifolds.

We present an improved search for axion-like polarization oscillations in the cosmic microwave background (CMB) with observations from the Keck Array. An all-sky, temporally sinusoidal rotation of CMB polarization, equivalent to a time-variable cosmic birefringence, is an observable manifestation of a local axion field and potentially allows a CMB polarimeter to detect axion-like dark matter directly. We describe improvements to the method presented in previous work, and we demonstrate the updated method with an expanded dataset consisting of the 2012-2015 observing seasons. We set limits on the axion-photon coupling constant for mass $m$ in the range $10^{-23}$-$10^{-18}~\mathrm{eV}$, which corresponds to oscillation periods on the order of hours to years. Our results are consistent with the background model. For periods between $1$ and $30~\mathrm{d}$ ($1.6 \times 10^{-21} \leq m \leq 4.8 \times 10^{-20}~\mathrm{eV}$), the $95\%$-confidence upper limits on rotation amplitude are approximately constant with a median of $0.27^\circ$, which constrains the axion-photon coupling constant to $g_{φγ} < (4.5 \times 10^{-12}~\mathrm{GeV}^{-1}) m/(10^{-21}~\mathrm{eV}$), if axion-like particles constitute all of the dark matter. More than half of the collected BICEP dataset has yet to be analyzed, and several current and future CMB polarimetry experiments can apply the methods presented here to achieve comparable or superior constraints. In the coming years, oscillation measurements can achieve the sensitivity to rule out unexplored regions of the axion parameter space.
