This paper aims at examining how prevalent of a category magial realism is in our Central-Europea... more This paper aims at examining how prevalent of a category magial realism is in our Central-European environment. As part of a wider-scale work, it hopes to capture the results of international studies, contrast those with the viewpoints of both Hungarian and Romanian literary scholars and thus form a regionally recognized and internationally accepted definition for magical realism. The second half of the essay wishes to prove the previously described by putting it into practice through two novels of Filip Florian, a contemporary Romanian writer.
