The book develops ideas of the author's book "Discovering the Cluster World", published in 2015 by Lambert Academic Publishing. It demonstrates methods and results of molecular interactions' parameters extraction from modern electronic databases, such as the NIST Database for thermophysical properties of pure fluids. The analysis is based on a heuristic Hybrid intellect system of the researcher-computer cooperation that provides discovery of new laws of Nature basing on the hidden knowledge contained in databases. The analysis brings a lot of surprising and educational results: monomers’ repulsion mechanism opening way to computation of cluster bond parameters at high temperatures; giant bonds in clusters of several gases; the unknown before class of 1D linear chain clusters; soft structural transitions in cluster fractions and supercritical fluids. Due to detailed description of fundamental principles and wide utilization of diagrams the book may be used in educat...

The paper presents an advanced platform for thermodynamics education - the equilibrium pure real gas system, which has been deeply investigated experimentally and theoretically by researchers from all over the World. But in spite of a huge amount of extra precise experimental data, the nature of real gases and clusters in them is still poorly understood. The clusters are considered now as a new state of matter. To study them is both challenging and educative. We use a wonderful feature of pure real gases: the chemical potential for all basic particles in a gas is universal for all clusters. It permits us to find the monomer fraction density Dm from an experimental pressure dependence of the total density. This variable has proven to be the key to properties of clusters and molecular interactions. The advanced platform is more informative for thermodynamics education than the widely used ideal gas model, which ignores molecular interactions. It provides a new vision of molecular inte...

Laser recrystalization on silicon dioxide polysilicon islands by pulsed laser radiation has been carried out. As a result of laser treatment single-crystalline layers have been produced which were investigated by means of translucent electron microscopy. It has been shown that the solution obtained for temperature distribution can be expressed via elliptical Jacoby sine. This international team of online educators will show, true to the title of this chapter, that online education is already a global phenomenon. The World Wide Web, which affords so many educational applications friendly to designers as well as to the users, has lived up to its name by reaching nearly all countries through the internet infrastructure. Online education at first suggests education through the internet, but the “line” in online and offline refers more broadly to networked computers. By necessity in some countries, or by choice, ...

Short description: Modern complex electronic systems mostly comprise wide production industrial components. A large number of electronic components entering the complex system requires their high reliability and forces designers to base their projects only on well known components, which have happened to prove their high reliability. But to reach the extremely high system performance it may be unavoidable to risk in utilizing the newest components, including those, which work on new physical principles.

The thermophysical models of real gases are based on the assumed types of interactions between particles, which are frequently shadowed by the thermal movement, because their energies in real gases are of the same order of magnitude as the thermal energies. The spectroscopy here is not helpful. It is a great challenge and a great need to know the interaction parameters for real gases. A new approach to the equilibrium cluster structure of pure real gases shows that both the density and internal energy dependences on temperature and pressure, D (T, P) and E (T, P), can be described in terms of the cluster structure of real gases. But equilibrium constants for D (T, P) differ from equilibrium constants for E (T, P). The difference origins from the so called virtual clusters that influence the D (T, P) dependence, but are not seen in the E (T, P) [1]. For the E (T, P) picture the physical cluster can be considered as an equivalent of a chemical compound with its potential energy of bon...

A series expansion for a number of thermophysical properties of the Water vapor, in particular for the Joule-Thomson coefficient, contains noticeable quadratic component that reflects a large role of the four particle clusters. The phenomenology method to estimate the intermolecular bond parameters: the molecular clusters effective bond energy and volume, is developed basing on the available databases for real gases thermophysical properties. The estimates for effective intermolecular bond parameters for Water dimers, trimers and quatromers are found and used to make conclusions about the predominant types of structures for the Water vapor clusters. The Water vapor trimers are shown to exist predominantly as the open chain isomers with two hydrogen bonds and with a large mobility of links, which signal about a similarity between the trimer’s and Water drop’s molecular motion types. The predominant isomer of quatromers, to the contrary, possesses a rigid structure with eight hydrogen...

Clusters attract a large attention of scientists and practitioners as one of undiscovered problems of thermal physics and thermodynamics. They greatly influence the properties of real gases, playing important role in Universe, our everyday life and technologies. But small sizes and small bond energies prevent from direct investigations of clusters. The book describes quite new approach to physics of equilibrium clusters, as an extension of chemical thermodynamics. The developed methods of precise thermophysical data analysis based on computer processing of data, contained in modern electronic databases, successfully solves the inverse mathematical problem of hidden parameters extraction from experimental data. The author explains the methods and demonstrates surprising results, such as structural features of equilibrium clusters, their bond energies, unknown types of clusters, linear chain clusters, clusters with giant bond energies. The book will be interesting to researchers, practitioners, teachers, undergraduate and Ph.D students.
