Exploratory research obtained from key Thai respondents was used, and the data analysis was further enhanced by an extensive review of related grey literature available in public domains. With our qualitative data analysis, we propose the generic airport business model framework as a foundation for designing business models. Strategic partners, core business activities, human resources and sustainability-related projects should be considered basic components driving an airport to achieve high performance. The remaining business model components should be customised depending on business environments and location contexts.

It is the 8th consecutive year for the airport to win these renowned awards. This paper aims to investigate the overall business operations to track accomplishment in airport development. Examining the lessons learned using the descriptive analysis under the Business Model Canvas (BMC) framework, the results reveal that Singapore Changi International Airport is now developed as a destination. This concept affects customers' segmentation, which links to different value propositions deriving from utilizing key resources and synergy among strategic partnerships. The practical contributions deriving from the lessons learned are presented.

The study employs data envelopment analysis and the Malmquist productivity index to analyze the technical efficiency scores and capture the total productivity change during 2009-2018 for 31 airports in Thailand. Using the BCC-data envelopment analysis-Malmquist model with an output-oriented framework, we found that most regional and local airports in Thailand operated technically inefficiently during the study period, whereas the total productivity change of most airports showed progress (around 8.4%). Decompositions of the Malmquist productivity index reported a positive change in technical efficiency and airport technology. This study also presents policy recommendations arising from the case study for airport practitioners.

Using the 2012-2019 intranational panel dataset collected from 10 ASEAN member countries, the results reveal that the ASEAN tourism market structure is concentrated during the sample period but tends to be competitive in the future, with an average Herfindahl-Hirschman Index of 1,725.242. The empirical evidence from the panel regression analysis theoretically confirms the positive relationship between the market structure variable and tourism revenue. In particular, an increase in a market share ratio causes a rise in tourism revenue approximately 590.6 million USD. A policy recommendation for formulating tourism policies and strategies derived from this analysis is presented.

Therefore, airports worldwide need to finance themselves and look for better managerial tools to improve airport efficiency. Business models and business model innovations as a means of strategic management are proved to have positive impacts on performance. However, the studies relating to airport business models are scarce and lack scholarly attention, especially in the contexts of small airports. Consequently, to bridge the gap in the literature, the dissertation’s goal is to design business models and propose business model innovations using a case study of local and regional airports in Thailand.

Many countries worldwide use sports events as a tool to stimulate both their national and local economies. To gain a competitive advantage, knowledge of sports event success is essential for stakeholders and hosting countries. However, due to the diverse conceptualizations of event success, the knowledge of the issue is fragmented, and there is a lack of comprehensive studies for scholars and event practitioners. This article aims to review the critical success factors (KSFs) of sports events based on the resource-based view (RBV) theory to fill this knowledge gap. Methods. A systematic review is used to analyze the KSFs of sports event management. Results. Our findings from 42 peer-reviewed papers indicate that organizational and reputational resources seem to play the most critical roles in sports event management success. Conclusion. The conceptual framework representing the KSFs of sports event management based on the RBV theory is presented. Moreover, several themes for future research on this issue are also suggested.

It presents the benefits of such cooperative agreements by drawing conclusions from related empirical literature examination under a structure-conduct-performance paradigm. The review shows some factors, that is, legislation and government policies, can result in changes in the demand for air travel and that the characteristics of the airline business can lead to collaborations to form international airline alliances. The review demonstrates that members of airline alliances gain five beneficial consequences from making such mutual pacts - passenger traffic boosting, improved cost efficiency, enhanced exercise of market power, global network expansion and service quality improvements. These all represent competitive advantages compared to nonaligned airlines. This study, consequently, offers compact guidelines for firms seeking strategies to improve performance which ...

As it can often be seen that activities involving women are victims of this incident, but in fact, domestic violence affects all family members, especially children. But they always get help after women, and the impact activities on children are less and less widely discussed. Children are valuable for national development, but domestic violence is detrimental to children; it results in them being in a stressful environment, where they are usually overcome by anxiety, anger and fear. Therefore, children are as vulnerable to domestic violence as their mothers. To gain an overview of the issue, this research aims at concisely reviewing the impact of seeing and falling victim to domestic violence on children. This study focuses on literature relevant to the impact of domestic violence on children, in which children who experience domestic violence do not experience a sense of security, warmth, and love. In fact, domestic violence is also one of the problems that lead children to misbehave such as disobedience, criminality, alcohol addiction, etc. The literature review reveals that domestic violence has consequences on a child's physical, mental, family, and educational relationships.
