From September 2010 to November of 2012 Molly served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco. During her service her work focused on empowerment activities and public health campaigns at a local women’s center and maternal clinic. She earned an undergraduate degree focused on international economic development and African studies from Hampshire College. Her thesis was an extensive political-economic analysis on the Agricultural Input Subsidy Program in Malawi. She has interned for a variety of organizations including Fountain House, the Clinton Global Initiative and Nomadic Wax. As a first year in the MDP program she is taking foundation classes in economics, statistics and sustainable development, with a elective focus on rural development. She is interested in pursuing a career focused on rural livelihood improvement, economic empowerment and women’s advancement. Molly has worked on sustainable development projects in both rural Senegal and the Peruvian Amazon. She has traveled extensively in sub-Saharan Africa and is proficient in French and Moroccan Arabic.edit
