The aim of this brief study is not to synthesize the information available on farms (the typology of their buildings, plots, ditches, etc.) at the end of protohistory, but to take another look at it, on a more economic, functional aspect, and to elaborate a theoretical model of Farm Management : that of the family farm (trebā), built on an infield / outfield system. I would also emphasise the contribution of this text on the Gaulish legal vocabulary .
