Due to the growing number of scientists and the scientific literature, communication has become increasingly dependent on technology functions; the object itself, scientific journals, was changing, offering new possibilities to access and ratification of what is scientific. The hypermedia systems are presented as a tool for the development of scientific communication - providing opportunities for the intervention of hypermedia and design, showing new alternatives for scientific paper formats by adding facilities scientific publications in electronic media. With the purpose of the Guide to Best Practices in implementing Hypermedia Design in scientific journal articles from the theoretical and descriptive analysis, this study is structured into three main stages: the theoretical, descriptive analysis and results. The theoretical framework explores scientific journals (concept, features, functions, importance, historical development and electronic version) and hypermedia (recent studies in scientific journals and Hypermedia Design). Studies obtained based on literature formed for the construction of descriptive analysis according to Hypermedia Design. This is between two selected scientific journals, based on the linear model (enhanced publications) - The Imaginarium of Sessions magazine - to the greater integration of hypermedia resources (rich internet publication), using a more visual scheme and directed the nonlinear reading - analyzes the PLOS ONE magazine. After analyzing emphasizing the development of knowledge, it was possible to obtain results that led to the establishment of a base of concepts and criteria that enabled the formulation of the Best Practices Guide for articles from scientific journals in hypermedia. It is noteworthy that the guide allows an adequate way a linear scientific publication has the possibility of expressing its contents with the use of hypermedia resources, creating new interactive expectations in the reader.

After reasoning was adopted open questionnaire and usability testing, to evaluate the interface. Identified the main factors problem and possible solutions.

In the context of design accessible book, several tools can be used to assist the education of a deaf child. Currently, the inclusion policy of the Brazilian government needs bilingual material, sign language and Portuguese, to contribute with the learning process in the classroom. In the case of digital books, is not yet established criteria of quality and efficiency to use them. Thus, this study, through a descriptive analysis of two eBooks for the deaf, show criteria and principles of visual design interface, specifically the screen design, which may contribute to the production of digital books with more quality.

The development and democratization of Information Technology and Communication (ITC) have contributed to increase the access to long distance education and teaching mediation, which in the past was represented by the teacher and now is conducted on Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), where Instructional Design is responsible for developing and applying methods, techniques and activities to facilitate learning. One can relate this change in teaching practice with the model proposed by Dewey? This article, through a literature review and a descriptive analysis of the practice of instructional design in distance learning, questions such type of mediation as a factor which favours a more active and dynamic student. Relating pragmatism of John Dewey ́s pragmatic propositions, the progressive education from the beginning of the twentieth century and the current context of long distance learning in Brazil, it was observed that the Instructional Design makes possible the implementation of a more attractive education punctuated with experiences which will raise on the students the interest and curiosity for learning.
