Fifty five sixth grade students from two class of a public school in Turkey participated in this study. With a quasi-experimental pretest– post-test research design, one class assign to experimental and the other to control group randomly. While the experimental group (n=33) instructed with jigsaw technique of cooperative learning method, the control group (n=22) followed the regular curriculum with traditional instructional methods. Both groups were administered to an achievement test, as pre, post and retention test. A t-test analysis was used to analyses research data. The aim of this study was to evaluate Cloud-based The Google Spreadsheet Add-on for Classical Ite... more The aim of this study was to evaluate Cloud-based The Google Spreadsheet Add-on for Classical Items and Test Analysis (GaCiTa) software, which is prepared in order to improve the ability of students to perform item and test analysis in the measurement and evaluation course, according to the opinions of pre-service teachers. The sample of the study consisted of 114 pre-service teachers who had previously taken the measurement and evaluation course. The standardized interview form was used to collect data. The collected data were analyzed by Nvivo 12 software. The results of this study revealed significant positive opinions about GaCiTA software. According to this result, it can be said that the use of the software in measurement and evaluation courses will contribute to the students.

The study was carried out in 75. Yil Anatolian Teacher Training High School in the second semester of the 2003-2004 educational year. The research sample was divided into two groups, an experimental group comprised of 24 students and a control group of 24 students. The result of the study showed that the level of academic achievement and retention of learning significantly higher for the experimental group than the control group.

provid... more This study is a quasi-experimental study conducted to investigate the effect of education provided with the help of dynamic and interactive computer-aided MEB Vitamin teaching software in Science and Technology courses on the academic achievement of students. The pretest-posttest control group design of the experimental method was used. Two classes were randomly selected to form the experimental and control groups. The experimental group consisted of 35, and the control group consisted of 33 students. In the study, the 5/C class, which is the experimental group, was taught with the computer-assisted MEB Vitamin software in addition to traditional teaching, and the 5/B class, which was the control group, was taught with the traditional teaching method. The Force and Movement Achievement Test developed by the researchers was used to collect the data of the experimental study. The achievement test was applied to the groups participating in the study as a pre-test before the experimental procedure, a posttest after the procedure, and a retention test two weeks later. Data analysis was done with SPSS statistical program, t-test, arithmetic mean and standard deviation were used for statistical analysis. The obtained data were tested at the .05 significance level. In the results of working; It has been found that the dynamic and interactive computer-assisted teaching method in Science and Technology lessons is significantly more effective than the traditional method on the success of the students.

Accordingly, most countries have allocated considerable budgets to improve the quality of education through the use of technology. In this regard, one of the most comprehensive projects in Turkey was carried out by the Ministry of Improving Tech software and hardware support to all K-12 schools in Turkey. One of the most significant components of this project is the provision and management of educational materials. In this vein, the Education Information Network (known as EBA) portal was established and educational materials provided through this portal. The primary purpose of this study is to determine the usability of EBA portal. For this purpose, quantitative data were collected from 301 teachers by applying an online version of the System Usability Scale (SUS). Further, qualitative data were collected from 117 teachers by adding two open-ended questions at the end of the scale. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS 23 and MaxQDA 12. According to the results, it can be concluded that even if the usability of the EBA portal is moderate; some revisions are still necessary based on suggestions provided by the teachers.

One of this innovations, recently gained popularity in the education community, is called technology. By using computer-generated data such as sound, video, and images, this technology enables display an environment like real World that could be make lessons more fun and engaging. It can provide a way of learning abstract concepts by bringing the perception of reality to the environment and also can increase the level of interaction by enriching the content of courses and printed materials. When we look at innovation in education and training of AR application environment it can be considered to be a useful potential. In this context, it is thought that it is important to examine empirical studies that using AR for educational purpose and evaluate its results. With this idea in mind, the aim of this study is to makes an assessment of studies published in the databases such as "Web of Science, Science Direct, and Google Scholar", about the use of augmented reality in education. In this context, by using key words such as "Augmented Reality", "Experimental Research" and "E a search done in related databases and reached a total of 57 studies. After first inspections, based on the selection criteria specified by the researchers, 32 out of 57 empirical studies have been selected for content analysis. An "Article evaluation form" has been developed and the data obtained were analyzed using content analysis method. Results are presented as graphs or frequency (f) / percentage (%) tables in descriptive manner. It was found from findings that AG technology is also used for education even in informal settings, but most studies have been carried out in the field of physics and engineering. In terms of educational level, it is a technology that appeals to just about every stage of student groups. Mostly, the effect of AR technology on themes such as students spatial skills, achievement, attitudes and motivation levels were examined by researchers and significant difference were founded in 28 out of 32 of those researches. Based on implications of this research, it is expected that this study will contribute to the use of AR technology in education and also be a guide for future researches.

Son zamanlarda eğitim ortamlarında adı sıklıkla duyulan bu yeniliklerden biri " Artırılmış Gerçeklik (AG) " teknolojisidir. AG uygulamalarının getirdiği yeniliklere bakıldığında eğitim öğretim ortamları için yararlı bir potansiyel olacağı düşünülebilir. Bu bağlamda eğitim amaçlı AG kullanımıyla ilgili deneysel çalışmaların incelenmesinin ve sonuçların değerlendirilmesinin önem taşıdığı düşünülmektedir. Bu doğrultuda, " Augmented Reality " , " Experimental Research " ve " Education " anahtar kelimeleri kullanılarak veri tabanlarında bir tarama yapılmış ve 57 çalışmaya ulaşılmıştır. İlk incelemeler sonucu, araştırmacılar tarafından belirlenen seçim ölçütlerine uyan 32 deneysel çalışma incelemeye alınmıştır. Çalışmaların analizi için bir " Makale değerlendirme formu " geliştirilmiş ve elde edilen veriler içerik analiz yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, AG'nin informal ortamlarda da eğitsel anlamda kullanımının olduğu, en fazla fizik ve mühendislik alanlarında çalışmalar yapıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Eğitim düzeyi açısından bakıldığında, hemen her kademeden öğrenci gruplarına hitap eden bir teknoloji olduğu söylenebilir. Çalışmalarda çoğunlukla AG uygulamalarının uzamsal beceriler, öğrenci başarı, tutum ve motivasyon düzeylerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmalarda ulaşılan sonuçlarına bakıldığında ise 28 çalışmada, incelenen temalar üzerinde AG uygulamalarının, anlamlı düzeyde bir etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın bulgularına göre, AG'nin eğitime katkı sağlayacağı ve bu çalışmanın gelecek araştırmalara yol gösterici olabileceği düşünülmektedir. ABSTRACT The usage of technology in education to facilitate learning and increase the effectiveness of training is gaining a new dimension day by day. One of this innovations, recently gained popularity in the education community, is called " Augmented Reality (AR) " technology. By using computer-generated data such as sound, video, and images, this technology enables display an environment like real World that could be make lessons more fun and engaging. It can provide a way of learning abstract concepts by bringing the perception of reality to the environment and also can increase the level of interaction by enriching the content of courses and printed materials. When we look at innovation in education and training of AR application environment it can be considered to be a useful potential. In this context, it is thought that it is important to examine empirical studies that using AR for educational purpose and evaluate its results. With this idea in mind, the aim of this study is to makes an assessment of studies published in the databases such as "Web of Science, Science Direct, and Google Scholar", about the use of augmented reality in education. In this context, by using key words such as "Augmented Reality", "Experimental Research" and "Education " a search done in related databases and reached a total of 57 studies. After first inspections, based on the selection criteria specified by the researchers, 32 out of 57 empirical studies have been selected for content analysis. An "Article evaluation form" has been developed and the data obtained were analyzed using content analysis method. used. Two classes were randomly selected to form the experimental and control groups.

computer-assisted MEB Vitamin software in addition to traditional teaching, and the
5/B class, which was the control group, was taught with the traditional teaching method.
The Force and Movement Achievement Test developed by the researchers was used to
collect the data of the experimental study. The achievement test was applied to the
groups participating in the study as a pre-test before the experimental procedure, a posttest after the procedure,
and a retention test two weeks later. Data analysis was done with SPSS statistical program, t-test, arithmetic mean and standard deviation were used
for statistical analysis. The obtained data were tested at the .05 significance level. In the
