Detailed 3D Reconstruction of Large-Scale Heritage Sites with Integrated Techniques

Abstract

Selecting the most effective technique for modeling large-scale heritage sites is not always obvious. This article discusses each technique and points out advantages and disadvantages. The article presents the authors' own approach, which is an integration of several technologies and is based on the experience they gained over more than a decade for accurately and completely modeling heritage monuments and sites.
